I just don’t understand this. Why Louisville? Because of his grandpa? His dad played at Memphis? Why not them? His coach that has known and recruited him since birth is at UK? I’m just not seeing UL, not to mention sanctions. The tourney is when kids show out and improve or not, their stock.

Oh I didn’t mean it always does. Very true, some guys don’t care and still get drafted high. A lot of others do.

No issue with it at all. How many players do we have to lose to other programs before cal starts playing the game himself. May or may not work out for UofL but no harm in giving it a try.

He's a soon to be 56 yr old 1st yr HC who should've already been hired by someone and he's got limited time to make an impact. This is what you have to do. He still has NCAA Sanctions hanging over the program, and you only get one chance to make a 1st impression. I mean Cal hired Milt to work on his staff and took Dajuan's best friend Arthur Barclay to make sure he ended up at Memphis. When you are in a world where everyone has to find an edge/advantage, you have to do what you have to do.

Cal already took Dejuan step kid too Kareem brother. That should matter for something right?
