Not sure what games you have ever watched, most NAIA teams are way below the really good D-2 teams, there are some D-2 teams that could compete in the OVC or the MAC at times. I played NAIA and tried to walk on to a really good D-2 team before I blew my knee out, and the deference was like a middle school team compared to a good high school team. The D-2 team was faster, more athletic and bigger under the basket. Plus there have been several D-2 players over the years make NBA teams or at least get invited to try out name one NAIA player to make a NBA roster.
I 100% agree. We may have off nights but an off night may be shooting in the mid-30s from behind the arc instead of mid 40s. Some teams would love to shoot in the mid-30s in a game.
There is a political thread, I never believe anyone jokes about politics without projecting.
I will say this, my wife does not even know who I vote for. I have never missed an election. I have not always voted for all options on a ballot (if I do not like the options). Post election my wife and I will discuss. I think it is important not to seriously discuss election stuff. There is a reason you have privacy when voting. If a friend asks me my political views I will have a private conversation with them about my views (not candidates). That being stated, I will tell you that I have actually never voted for Trump, nor for Biden (wrote in my own name on last election (threw away my vote) as I did not believe in either Candidate)), before that I voted Green Party.
So when you see something I post most of it is intended for my own entertainment. If it offends it is not the intent. I have friends that are socialists, far left dems, far right republicans and so forth. I try to love all. My kids think I am off base just like we thought our parents were old fashioned in their thoughts.
Heck this is the most serious I have ever been on this site. Sorry for that. Any sports forum are for enjoyment. This to me is not what my random thought was about. It was actually at that moment in time my random thoughts. I really only sleep about 3 hours a night, on a good night I get up to 4 or 4.5 hours. So random thoughts actually go all over. Those all were the actual random thoughts. It was intended as comedy as I laugh at myself all the time. I tell all my friends they only see about 10% or the crap that is in my head. Heck if I put it all out there I would be at Eastern State Hospital. lol
For reference and perspective, we only have one player (Brea) who has shot over 40% from three for his 4-year career and only 3 (Brea, Kriisa, Carr) who shot better than 40% for a season. Team shooting 40% for a game may be a rarity, as that is difficult to do often, especially in games that really matter. Note: Williams was 3-6 in '21-'22 ... minimal attempts.

I was giving a "for instance", not real life stats. I do believe our average will increase as the season goes and we get more comfortable in the offense and their confidence grows.
This UK team would beat last year’s UK team. Oakland had one shooter they couldn’t stop. This team has a roster full of shooter and all of them aren’t going to be cold on the same night. They’re going to be difficult to guard for anyone they play.
