For as good as Hagans and Maxey can be, they can be equally as dumb and it 100% cost us tonight. This team's biggest downfall is their bball IQ, and I'm not sure that is something that can be drastically improved mid-season.
Hagans with back to back turnovers. EJ misses a bunny lay up. It all adds up. The whole team except for IQ looked like they had smoked something before the game.

I’m not going to comment on Kentucky directly, but that was one of the worst South Carolina teams I’ve watched with one of the deadest visiting crowds (at least for a good portion of the game).

To scratch and claw and tie the game with 4 seconds left was gusty. Quickly has definitely proved that he is our clutch last-second guy. Brooks and Whitney kill us when they are in. Brooks had 2 putbacks at point-blank and couldn't put them in. F***! They can't be in tough games where every possession counts. A banked F-ing 3 at the buzzer. I kept saying are they going to just let him go all the way down for a regular 3. YEP! What the hell? They aren't gonna call pressure as long as you don't do anything stupid. How do we not pressure the guy bringing it up and let him get to the 3 line. That should have been a heave.
Brooks starts the second half takes an awful shot then immediately fouls on the other end. Quickley comes in 20 seconds into the half. I mean Cal this is ridiculous, play the best 5 and spot sub. Get a 20 point lead then let these guys play some, you are getting paid 10 mil!

You can just feel it before it ever comes!! Having watched UK games for 50 years, you can tell when the team is losing ALL of the momentum in a game. Tonight was no different. Cal has had HORRIBLE showings at SC over the years, so that made it even more cringe worthy.
