Heck the best thing for UK is for UL to bring back Jurich and Pitino. And as posted earlier, for this to drag out.

UL took the right step Wednesday morning. Quick and clean house. But hiring Padgett, and considering bring back Jurich is just institutional suicide. Regardless if you believe both are "innocent", you gotta quickly cut all ties. Move forward.

UL dumb, dumb, dumb.

It's all about the settlements. I hoping UL has enough on them to bury them and give them nothing. Wishful thinking, I know.

This POS should be on his knees grateful that he still had a job after Strippergate. Anyone know of another school that had to vacate an entire season whose AD was NOT fired?

I'm pretty sure Mitch Barnhart's contract spells out that he is subject to immediate termination with no severance pay if any UK sports program is sanctioned for major NCAA violations. Also every director-level UK employee has to sign an annual conflict of interest attestation, so Mitch would also have been fired for getting a kid hired by Nike just before signing a $160 million contract with them.

Ramsey might as well have written Jurich's contract on a napkin. It's so far from what is considered best practices for major universities, it's not even funny. I said on Twitter today that if Postel and the new Board can get away with it, they should simply tear up every contract signed by Ramsey and fire everyone he hired. Ramsey was so corrupt and conflicted himself that University 6 cannot afford to honor any contract he executed.

I noted this in another thread, but I always wondered how many of those fancy athletic upgrades that UL fans love to brag about were paid for with "shady" money? Let's be honest, with all the financial mismanagement news that has come out over the past year, it's not too big of a stretch at all to think that the new facilities and absurd contracts were paid for with money siphoned from the academic side of the University or the foundation.

I'd also be willing to bet there are a LOT more skeletons buried around Floyd St. If Jurich and Pitino keep digging their own graves they may accidentally uncover a few of those dirty little secrets.

I don't think this is about getting his job back. This is legal maneuvering to negotiate a better settlement. Both letters today from Jurich and Pitino, are just letting the BOT know they are not going away quietly. Even if Jurich were to come back, the work relations would be so bad, he would be totally inept and unable to fullfill his job duties.

I suspect the lawyers are negotiating settlements, while all this public stuff is going on.

For the UL fans who want him back, it's fools gold. Maybe you get a short term rush, like hey we "won one". But the ongoing damage to UL will just continue and NCAA will hit them even harder. I cannot see why the UL fans cannot see this.

The UL fans can't see it because they are blinded by the wins and success that both Jurich and Pitino has had.

Don't dog on Hilliary , she is fighting the good fight to make sure those automatic weapons don't get silencers ( sorry for the thread hi jack )
After he shot the first person, I think the people would get the idea... Sound, or no sound... Still, there's no need for silencers on automatic weapons... As for Hillary, just go away, far, far, away!
