I’m pretty sure we will get destroyed by UL, UT, UF, Arkansas, Bama, and beat by host of other SEC teams. Of course we will probably lose 4/5 non con games. And then there’s the typical 3 or 4 we will lose just due to not coming out prepared that we shouldn’t lose. Could get ugly real quick.

JJ a local legacy was run out of town & Jelly a potential NBA player from Europe will be shining examples of why players are shunning UK . OREGON & Ohio State are the benefactors of Ky’s deficiencies.With social media communications & the 24 hr news cycle the reputation of BBN is Toxic - We ran off 2 Hall of Fame coaches. Now the natives are beating the war drums & demanding the firing of another coach who won 46 games including 3 NCAA Tournament wins in his first 2 years. No top line coach is going to want to subject their family &future to the gauntlet of running UK HOOPS in the near term.

TN will be good, but I feel like a lot of people are way overhyping their roster. Gillespie is better than Ames, Okpara and Carey are better than their current rotation at the 5, their SG’s are improved but Lundblade doesn’t play defense, Terrence Hill is an upgrade, Ament IMO is irreplaceable with anyone in this portal. Haralson can’t shoot and really only drives to the basket. It’s a good roster, but to replace who they lost is a challenge in and of itself that I don’t think a lot of people are recognizing.

Now I want you to tell me how good Kentucky’s roster is this year. Tell me how it’s underrated and how nobody sees it yet.

The Vols lost a lot of experience but little shooting outside of Gillespie (and Ament. 50% of the time).

Hill will be running PG and should be the Gillespie comp. Ames fills the Boswell role. Haralson will spend a lot of time at the 4, so a downgrade in ceiling but a more consistent floor than Ament as a freshman.

Lundblade may be a defensive liability, but I anticipate he looks different after 4 months with Barnes than he did at any point at Belmont - the same way I expect Pope to fix Wilkins’ miserable TO rate.

Ament is extremely replaceable and Phillips, Evans, Boswell, Estrella and Carey practically define the term. Okpara is the only one that Tennessee fans should be worried about losing other than Gillespie due to his rim protection.

Dewayne Brown is a young stud in the frontcourt for them. I expect him to have a better year than any of their bigs had this year.

I’d take 10-8 right now. I think we are likely looking at 6-12. Not sold on Kansas either at the moment. Stokes is vastly overrated IMO and seemingly extremely selfish. I don’t think he has a good game against us at all. Could be wrong, will see. All I know is I have zero expectations for making the tournament next year. I will not tune in to a single game against a P5 opponent expecting to win. I’m old enough to remember Eddie suttons last year but honestly don’t remember what I felt at that time but I do think we are going to have a season that mirrors that although we will win more games as more weak teams on our schedule now vs then. Problem is we will be the weak team against other P5 opponents.
