You're the one who isn't smart dude. Go up and tell him to his face he is faking and he would break your beak lol
How? His knee is too swollen and sore to play, so how is he going to catch me? Lol.
His ability to beat up someone, doesn't negate anything.....Strange post.

Not trying to be negative ... just asking: Is there a chance that his return would be more of a negative than a positive ??
Will he be healthy, committed and productive ?? If productive, what can be expected in terms of points, rebounds, blocks, etc ??

Can't be anything but a positive. I still don't see him playing, though.

Imo, just need him to rim protect, rebound and be a big body who won't get pushed around.

GOTCHA, but I wonder if his decision to return would eliminate our recruiting a high-level big that can score out of the portal ??

I thought you were talking about a return for the NCAA tournament this year. I don't think he will return to college next year, but who knows.

Many of the same folks who make that claim forget that we lost to a West Virginia team that was playing without their point guard in 2010. Think about that. John Wall, DeMarcus Cousins, and the rest of their number one seed roster lost to a team without its point guard.
He was smart enough to have a backup, obviously Mazulla was like a coach on the floor, he’s a good coach now.

I’ve watched a bunch of old games lately. Even suffered through that one. lol. If there was something wrong with Mazulla’s hand, it sure didn’t show.
It wasn’t Mazulla that was hurt, it was their PG Bryant who started and broke his foot.

I'm still sticking to the side that this is a good kid and he really does have a non-ready knee.

He tore his ACL, Meniscus and fractured part of the bone... tried to come back and play his first game 10 months later, it was too early.

He grew taller and added weight during the healing process which makes it even harder for all that to come together.

Big guys obviously more strain on a knee so you can't compare his acl return to smaller guys.

Take Nerlens for example... his was just an ACL and he took 17 months before playing his first real game.

It was a poor decision to spend a bunch of NIL on such a chance to play.

Mahomes had ACL/LCL surgery in Dec and is projected to be ready by the first game....9 months in his 30s and in the NFL.
Maybe- and his injury isn't as severe.

As of mid-March 2026, it is uncertain whether Patrick Mahomes will be playing on September 1st. While he is aiming to return for the start of the 2026 NFL season following a torn ACL and LCL in December 2025, his availability for early September games depends on his rehabilitation progress.

I know that my surgery was 30 years ago and I was back to normal in 6 months. And I still swelling to this day after intense activity.
Same here and the procedure has come light years since then. I said pretty much the same as you...a little swelling is normal for a long while. Ya ice it, rest as needed but it's really not a big deal, typically. More like..expected.

Pope seriously needs to just shut the **** up. I'm fine with him not doing the media thing, he's awful at communication. Just shut up, lose, whiff on more recruits, lose more, then get the **** out of here and let a real coach try to rebuild the program.
