Josh Schertz

[UKgrad22]

St. Louis’ head coach, pretty dang impressive what he’s been able to do there, currently in line to beat Missouri

I expect him to be in a P4 job next year.

Outside of Donovan, perhaps this guy should get an interview if Pope is gone after the season.

If push comes to shove and we’re in the coaching hunt, would 100% side with giving him a call just to see

OP, you're kinda late to the party on this one. Schertz is a very hot name and has been all off season. He has been mentioned A LOT as someone people want to be the next coach.

[UKcats1988]

I recently watched one of his coaching clinics and he’s one of the brightest minds in coaching.

Who? Never heard of this guy? Anybody know anything about him?

Blew off Syracuse last March so he must expect better gigs to open up after this year.

If Pope is gone, he would be my number 1 choice and there's not a close second. If Pope hangs on, Schertz is going to be off the board; some other major program will snatch him up after this year.

He can coach, would need to know if he can get the talent to sign.

[Snarks]

I’d take anyone over Pope at this point.

[Loucatfan30]

As long as he doesn't have creep vibes he will be able to recruit better than Pope. In fact anyone should be able to recruit with 20 Million to spend.

I worry Kansas will make a play for Schertz if Self retires.

[Catastic5]

Ask Oats, if he says no, pick up Shertz.

Think they have a coach-in-waiting.
