He has Tennessee playing very well. Any chance Alberts would be interested in him or vice versa?

As soon as Oklahoma realizes that Brent V isn't a good head coach, Josh Heupel will be Oklahoma's new HC.

I don't think so....OU/Stoops fired Heupel as Offensive Coordinator in 2014. There is bad blood between them.

Tennessee is the type of place you can win a NC. He's got things rolling, only a job like Alabama would make him think twice.

Too many hillbillies. Kiffen got the hell out of there as soon as he could. Same with Jed Clampett, lol.

Tennessee and Nebraska are similar jobs, i think the Volunteers might have a higher ceiling because of the talent and population in the state and region. It is real and very important in 85 scholarship football.

Why?

Mickey has this team playing very well.

The job is his if things continue to show improvement.

Deal with it!
Not even close. Let this thing play out. He hasn’t embarrassed hisself and had a couple of nice bounces. This team will have to have an out of body experience……several times down the stretch for Mickey to land this gig.

Why would he leave Tennessee to go to Nebraska?

He has that team rolling and with a massive fan base with a 105K stadium playing in the SEC.

Yep, I think he can cement them as a top 3 or 4 team in the SEC with a possibility of being top 2. He has his work cut out for him, but the potential is there and the support is second to none.

We could do a lot worse than Josh but Tennessee has been wondering the deseet since they canned Phillip...now that he has them rolling I seriously doubt you are going to outbid them....so take away the monry as a reason and I'm not sure what's left.

I think they snap the ball about every 14 seconds. Heupel is good at getting the defense out of position.

The game Saturday against Alabama should be a good one, and I think Tennessee has a shot if they limit their turnovers.

Bama isn’t the same team without Bryce Young … I can actually see Bama losing a game or two yet with Tennessee being the first..
