What? That makes no sense. Surely he knew what he was getting into right? All of the pre-season interviews with him alluded to that. Why did he even come here? Oh well, wish him the best wherever he ends up.

Oh well, just opens up another slot for someone else to fill.
I wish the kid luck wherever he goes. He just seemed a little passive to me.

Who cares! You saw what was in front of you when you came to your “dream school”. Complaining about playing time and not even being enthusiastic about being on the bench, you’re definitely not Brotherhood material.

I don't like it or understand what he's thinking. He had to know what he was getting into and what was coming next season as well.
I don't remember exactly how he said it but Battier was asked when he signed with Duke years ago if he was ready for Duke and the talent awaiting. His reply was vintage: They better be ready for me! That's the attitude the kids have to have. He came with a purpose to not be denied, and used defense to get time, then allowed his offense to catch up.

I watched him during the game Saturday as we were standing in the student section and he looked engaged and was cheering on his teammates. Kind of shocked after seeing him Saturday. Oh well, nobody wants to wait their turn anymore. Good luck to him

Dang it. I really thought he'd be a key player possibly next year and definitely his junior year. Why so impatient.

I'm sorry it didn't work out and I wish nothing but the best for the kid. Can't blame him for doing what he feels is best for him.

Good luck young man!

How many years in a row have we had a transfer now? Too many to count but it seems that with the recruiting switched to OAD and a talent-rich roster this has become the norm. It's not what I like about CBB but its indicative of today's CBB environment and influences. Kids want to play, think they can play anywhere due to success at HS, but it gets tough when everyone is a 5 star. Patience is not a virtue many HS BB players show when they get to college. Wish him well. He's leaving a great education opportunity behind. It's his dream. I hope he finds it.

Bye Felicia! Poor work ethic anyway and knew what he was getting into. Opens up another roster spot. These kids kill me thinking somebody owes them something! Work your *** off and maybe you can earn some playing time. Couldn't have left soon enough for me.

I’m not sure how that works, but I think there might be certain restrictions. When Gbinije transferred there, the Orange were still in the Big East.

Now if he wants to transfer to unc there's no problem. He could play the next game. Let's just hope hof coach roy williams doesn't need him. If so hof coach roy williams will want Tucker to make a copy of Duke's game book. OFC

I think he will help someone, just probably thought he would beat out AOC coming in for that spot and got outworked. That would be my guess, because he was fairly highly sought.

I think the natural ability is definitely there, he just needs to work harder and get in the right situation.

If he transfers within conference dorant he have to sit 2 years instead of just 1? I know in football you don't but think I heard you did in basketball...some kind of ACC rule...I could be wrong and hopefully someone else knows if this is right or not

Obviously not if you're a grad transfer as Cam Johnson proves. Undergrad as you say may prove different...OFC
