Tough blow for us and Davis. We don’t really have anyone else with his skillset, and he had a great chance to get drafted this year. Fortunately we have depth on the DL and should be okay, although it does hurt.

Hate it for him if true, I think he was definitely a candidate to have a big breakout year and get drafted in the spring.
It’s a blow for us too and we will be worse off if he can’t play, but we aren’t totally devoid of talent on at DE. Will need some guys to step up but even Davis isn’t exactly proven yet.

Haddad made it sound like it wasn't nearly as bad as an ACL tear. Has this info been corroborated? He suggested high ankle sprain. But he also made it clear he was guessing.
Yep, apparently they felt cheated when Walley escaped a season ending injury in the Spring game. I guess Davis is their revenge. Seems we can't ever go into a season without something to put a damper on it.
Not saying it is or isn't an ACL injury, but ACL tears are typically one of the least painful and most easy to walk on injuries.
Didn't Elko play with a torn ACL this past baseball season?
You can run in straight lines and walk around, but your knee is unstable and you can't cut side to side.

Yeah....I heard Steve say this morning we should hear something in a couple hours. But then Matt Wyatt said he doubted we would hear anything today when he came on at noon. And this "we" is the collective fan base obviously. If you have heard nothing you might wanna tune on to 105.9 or follow the T&L podcast. Nothing but speculation so far tho
I follow message board, twitter and more than one Podcast since I spent lots of time in my car, but I got to work, no Radio or Podcast during work hours. I can ck out a message board for a second or two here and there in between things or even twitter but I rarely look at that during work hours.

That really sucks. I’m praying for the young man and hope that he can recover and all his dreams come true. That may sound corny, but I mean it. That hurts me for that kid who’s worked his *** off for this opportunity.
