But then he is a liar for not keeping his promise to Reeves. Cal had no clue Reeves would pull that ****. How do we know the Penn kid would co.e here ? He probably wanted a ton of minutes and shots like Reeves.
It was hinted at by some recruiting people. Every portal guy now pretty much are going to have demands or want money, cal has the belief that players want to come because it’s Kentucky which is simply not true anymore, he has to adapt and play the game these portal guys and other players want

The way this Spring/Offseason has gone, I have no clue and that's not a copout. I like the names being associated with the program and only thing I did know was despite the talk of being out on Kaluma they were working as hard as possible to get him to visit. I'd love Cyril coming in. I'm a huge fan of what I've seen of Joey Hart. I guessed right this time last week about Jordan Burks being a visitor. Defer to Tampa on Jordan Brown.
I'll say this-get me 5 of Cyril, Hart, Kaluma, Mulcahy (he's a guy I think is a perfect fit for this team) Brown, I'm happy. If Burks wants in too--come on board but I'd prefer Somto/Hart to be the last HS guys and go College experience as rest of the roster but this isn't anything I know. It's my hope/wishes for the roster. I think Joey Hart is going to be a fantastic CBB player. Cyril is massive enough he can take on what CBB offers physically, and then some vet presence and impact from winning culture/programs is coveted. I don't ever want a loser like Sahvir Wheeler around Kentucky's program again. He was a loser and a quitter. Losing people do things like quit on their teammates. Not accept roles. Find way to make losing plays in critical moments and get fat like a Willy Wonka Ooompa Loompa when they are whining about time/minutes. It's damn near impossible to gain weight as a basketball player during the season. He did it 2 yrs in a row. Pissed Wallace was moved to PG and he'd be a bench guy. Sat his fat *** on the bench and quit. Best part of the roster this year is he won't be on it.
So hope things work out but I'd be full out lying if I said I had any clue.
But how many of these players are going to go from starting to playing less minutes and getting less shots? Then the NIL (or lack of) issues that will hurt us. I would love to find a diamond, but right now it’s still coal. I just want to sign someone, anyone!
Screw Reeves and his handlers. If he's as good as he thinks, then show it and beat a freshman. To me he was too inconsistent and gave up more points than he scored a lot of games. Much rather see a kid give his all instead of standing around waiting for the ball to throw up a brick

Also, it took way too long for Reeves to get the starting spot and significant minutes. It was clear in August he was our best perimeter player. Reeves should have started from day 1. If I was Reeves, I would not trust Cal either, I don't blame Reeves for getting away from Cal.

Just thinks Burks is going to turn into a very good player. Too good to pass on. A 6'10" kid that can handle the ball, make plays and can score. Pretty rare combination
I get being frustrated with the situation. But I don’t get the thought that reeevs wasn’t good here or he isn’t going to be a big loss for Kentucky. He hit 90-100 3s for kentujcy was a consistent 14-15 point scorer and was the main reason with osacr they won a tournament game

Oscar made it clear that he has nothing but respect and admiration for Cal. Many NBA players who played for Cal have made it clear they enjoyed playing for him. Multiple players came back last year. You have no proof whatsoever that players hate playing for Cal.
I like Reeves. He is simply a good shooter. He has no business starting for UK. His defense is too poor and he's not a good ball handler. Reports indicate that he didn't want to be a mentor to the freshmen players. Ralph Dalton made it clear that he is not someone who was a vocal leader on the team. The team is better off without him in my opinion.

Lol. Oscar is 30 damn years old he wanted a shot at the NBA. He had a great workout. Hit like 24/30 3s and a team likes what they saw. Toppin. NBA was his dream. Wallace. Lotto and Livingston was always a one and done. Klutch Sports made sure of it. Wheeler, fn really ? Ware. 6 mpg, didn't deserve that, will play for a lesser team. CJ, couldn't stay healthy thus lost his minutes to Reeves. He knew he would lose more minutes this year, it wasn't that he didn't want to play here, he did, but he wasn't good enough to, huge difference. Then we have Collins, please just leave that one as is. So tell me, other than Reeves, wtf didn't want to be here and left ? Leaving for a career in the pros is EVERY players dream. 1 gd player left (Reeves), and he was scared of Edwards, Dillingham taking his lunch money. Please stay out of the grown folks talk if that is the best you can come back with. 4 left because they knew that they was not good enough to be here. (Excluding Collins) , just take a look where they landed.
Cal can’t come up with or refuses to give the money out needed to get Reeves back.

Patience is what so many are missing. Let's see his final roster before we complain.
I think one of the reasons we're seeing a major roster overhaul was to remove the cancer from the team. It was cut out, but to ensure it doesn't spread no remnants remain. (Yes, Calipari assembled the roster and did vetting of players so he's responsible but there's many factors at play.)
Regardless of how the rest of the roster pans out I think we'll see a much better team identity. No more loser attitudes and guys who quit when things get difficult. The best thing about our incoming freshmen is they haven't been corrupted by upperclassmen who were never UK material to begin with.
This new roster of players weren't part of recent failures and shortcomings. We should support this new roster and embrace a fresh start.
A fresh start comes when the true cancer is gone which is the coach.

None of them know who UK has reached out to / will sign. NONE of them do, they are just simply talking out of their ***. The best example is KSR with the "Kaluma ship has sailed" and "UK not a possible destination for Kaluma." 3 days later its announced he scheduled a visit. Now doesn't mean he commits to UK, but the ship sure as hell hasn't sailed. That ship will be docked in Lexington this week. They do NOT have a damn clue about what is going on. Their false bs is exactly why Cal told them to kick rocks.

You still feel this way? The portal has nothing left accept brown, and Kentucky ain’t getting him, and our best potential returning player doesn’t want to play here so yeah Kentucky isn’t looking great right now

I’m ok if he can’t play the fall, as long as still can practice and gel with the team . That’s what 6-9 games, all but 2-3 of which vs bad teams.
