Anyone know if the Derby Festival Classic will be on through Spectrum Cable or local stations?

True, he have talked a ton about shooters and big guys, but at the end of the day the PG play will determine how the season plays out. I do think Shai is a much better player than people realize, not saying he will beat out Green but he will be a great option.
These games usually aren't very watchable to gauge players but I like to watch them anyways. You can see tidbits from players that kind of give you a tiny preview. Like individual moves or stuff like that. Other than that, it's usually deteriorates into showtime pretty quickly.
I was pretty impressed with the defensive intensity at the Nike Hoop Summit game.
The hoops summit is a real game. Much better indicator then these other games.
I think you're at least able to tell if you've got a shooter on your hands.

Yeah, but that's more like a real game. Tonight will be good to see these kids play but I don't expect much along the lines of a "real game".
This game is just like the McDonald's game. Nobody will play any defense and everyone will try and make highlight plays. There isn't much to learn from this game. The Nike Hoop Summit is the only game you can take anyway away from. Scoring points in this game means little.
PJ looking real good . So much T Jones in his game . Shoots 3's well and can handle the ball but boy can he rebound as well.
Let's remember these guys as they are now.
Because when he gets picked first after Cal works with him people will say he would have gone first anyways.
I'd love to have PJ and Vanderbilt on the floor at the same time. Those boys are *versatile*.
Great post. Yes right now Bamba and Richards are top 12 picks but after Cal is done with them after 1 year IMO they will be both top 6 or so picks. And Payne has alot to do with that as well.
So strange that he would choose Western Kentucky. He's looked really good. But Quade is the one making him look good.. so I think we win out in the end. Imagine what he can do with Richards and Bamba. Love that he's always looking to set guys up for big plays.
