I was reading a short story about Oklahoma State's game over the weekend. It mentioned one of their players, Jonathan Laurent. Of course I remembered a player for us by that name, so I checked it out. It is the same guy. He had an intermediate stop at UMASS before ending up at OSU. It seems like ages ago that he was at RU.

He was a frosh with Corey Sanders and did quite well as we had several injuries that season. When Steve became our new Head coach Jonathan did not get as much playing time. He averaged 8.1 ppg as a frosh and only 3.0 as a soph. He transferred to U Mass and sat out 2017-18. He played pretty well and graduated from U MASS and transferred to Oklahoma State as a grad transfer. I know early in the season I read that they had many young guys on their team and many of the players were looking up to Jonathan. I should go back & check his stats to see how he is doing.

If you're going to transfer, do it right and see the world. All the beautiful places. Piscataway. Amherst. Stillwater.
