Ferentz and staff have cultivated a large network of contacts over the decades. You have to believe that he has also earned trust. I have been critical of KF’s game management decisions but really admire the way he approaches recruiting and player development.
Take a look at the nfl players produced from each state and school. Iowa punches way way above their weight. Best player development in the country and it’s not close.
