A non-official assistant coach of some kind. Either as a grad assistant or an analyst would be the most likely positions. As to which position he assists with, that will have to be up to Frost to announce IF he chooses to do so but I wouldn't necessarily count on it.

Hopefully his job to get the corner from Bergen that committed to Rutgers to flip. :)
That’s against the rules, new rule passed a couple years ago.

Essentially, it means that anyone associated with a prospect cannot be hired as a non-field coach within two years of the prospect’s signing. That is a very limiting rule since there are only nine on-field coaching positions. And if you do hire a high school coach, he can’t recruit a prospect from his former school for two years.

I like the hire. This is what programs across the country have been doing for years, getting high school coaches from prominent teams and using them to get players from That area. Art Briles and many others went this route.

Now if we can get a good respected and connected coach from Texas, Louisiana, Cali and few other places we good.

Oh yeah I’m sure we can’t recruit that kid because it’s against the “rules”. Everyone still has contacts with recruits the rule doesn’t matter. Maintain relationships and continue to recruit.

I know that’s how Illinois got Isaiah Williams, and I think another kid from the same school after they poached the coach.
