Riley confirms they are going to be way conservative with the kid and made specific mention of his redshirt availability. He won't be back. Says Natter is a similar timetable, patella tendon.

So we have Reimers by fall camp with no problem (good), but JoJo is done for 2017? That's what I'm getting out of this stuff, too.

It's too bad, JoJo seems like he's developing into a stud safety. However, I kind of agree with the above post about how this isn't THAT bad, as it gives him plenty of time to develop further before we really need him to go out there and own. Here's to as fast a recovery as possible and a great return to Nebraska football!

Lee and Bootle are available there, Boaz Joseph has been around forever, and Kalu could conceivably swing back. And Blades is coming in at corner. Certainly not great for JoJo, but we do have some answers at safety. If he was going to get injured, now was as good a time as any.
