Was starting to look at what we have returning for next season and had completely forgotten about Domann. Here's the latest I was able to find on him:
"Out (Knee): Domann suffered an ACL injury and will need an extended amount of time to recover. (Updated November 19, 2017)"

Anyone know how his return is looking for the spring?

people forget that he was going to probably start for us this year. Looking at all the injuries in the back 8, it's no wonder we've struggled. Add to the new D and only one coach on staff who has ever coached it before and we were doomed.

There are kids on the D side of the ball, just need a coach that will will run a D that will allow them to play fast.

Man I could not agree with that statement. Their fundamental technique is terrible and team speed is woeful back there. Just saying there ya go does not solve these weaknesses. When I watch our D and other teams that are good, the lack of athletic players jumps out at me. You have to have something to coach, a good base.

I feel like the scheme is so bad and players are thinking to much. So its hard to tell exactly how much talent there is to work with. Tackling needs to be improved big time across the board.

Our defense will not get better until our lineman get better or bring in talent for that position. Same goes for our offense.
