Huge John Wick fan here...been looking forward to this movie for awhile.

Did not love this one. He went from being an incredible asskicker to essentially a superhero...his killing success went overboard in chapter 3 IMO.

Looks like he’s in his late 30’s. Party On!
He looks in his 50's to me from an appearance standpoint when he is standing still - looks quite "weathered". His fight scenes though make him get around like he's much younger so that part is deceptive.

The movie is what most John Wick fans expect and want. Several well-staged set pieces of violent choreography connected by a slim plot. Those set pieces are extremely violent and I can't count high enough to keep track of the body count. Not believable in the least but that's not important in a fantasy film like this. I enjoyed it for what it is. If you liked the other John Wick films, you should go see this one. If not, then stay away.

Never been a fan of his "acting" and the John Wick movies are a rinse and repeat constantly. He never misses, kills everyone else by the dozens and is always one step ahead of the BG's.

It was a good movie. Not as good as the 1st and second one. You could tell he wasn't as quick as he used to be. They set it up for a 4th one.

I don't know what the Wick movies have grossed but with Wick and Matrix...those have to be two of the highest grossing series of all time, right?

Star Wars
Indiana Jones
Jurassic Park
Saw Movies
What other ones might be up there?

Dang, I did some searching...I am not very good at guessing this ****.

I would assume the Marvel movie series would outgross all of them at this point. Several have made a billion or more.

I was wondering about 007 movies just based on how many there are

You are correct...

But, I guess for me, I don't count the marvel ones as all one...Like Iron Man 1, 2 and 3 (if they made a 3) I count...but like I don't think Iron Man and Captain America count together...if that makes sense.

007 is way up there and I would count those.

I would count Harry Potter and Halloween and Karate Kid as "franchise" films, you know what I mean?

I also like John Wick, but the box office is not even in the ballpark with those other series.

Good thing he didn’t take the blue pill based on the success he had with the Matrix movies. Winking

I just got back from watching the latest John Wick movie. I never thought I would like the original movie until I watched it. It was awesome. It was a revenge movie done beautifully. The second one I thought was horrible. Bored me to tears. John Wick was indestructible. I didn't think I would ever pay money to watch another sequel, and there I was tonight watching the third movie because it got a ton of great reviews. Here is my honest take. I can't believe I paid 11 bucks to watch a two hour video game. This was not a movie. This was two hours of watching a guy beat others guys up and do sword fights and ****. Nonstop of exactly what I just described. It was not a movie. There were elements of movies that I saw. There was a definite nod to the movie Enter The Dragon at one point. There was also a scene that reminded me of Jackie Brown where the gun dealer talked about how every dude in the hood had to have a .45 because The Killer had a .45 and they had to have TWO .45's because The Killer had two .45's . I suspect there will be a lot of idiots going out and getting malinois's because of this movie and they will have TWO malinois's because that cool chick in the John Wick movie had TWO malinois's. The Humane Society will likely have a run on crazy hyper working dogs because of this movie. If you want an idea of what this movie is like, watch this classic scene from a real good movie Oldboy(the real one not the American remake) and multiply it over two hours. This scene forty times is boring. This scene in the middle of a real movie is epic. There is a difference. John Wick fans will love this movie. I was bored to tears after about an hour. Thats my two cents.
