That is the sentiment among most physicians and healthcare personnel right now in this part of the state. The people that are actually on the front lines. Yet people want to listen to Fauci’s fear mongering ******** and the rest of the lab rats that are about 15% accurate so far.

I was in Starkville the past two nights and none, zero, zilch, nada young person in the District that were customers were wearing Masks. The employees, however, were all wearing masks.

So, I don’t know if being a PhD in micro and a job in public health makes me a real scientist, , but I completely agree with opening things up.. We have no clue what may or may not be really happening in the fall. My biggest complaint for policy people is the lack of data driven decision making, the lack of real risk assessment based on situation and location, and just really a lack of a science measured against economic factors in decisions. There had been too many decisions based on what could happen, not what is happening.

I know you were being sarcastic, but my know deleted rant is basically if policy makers can’t give me a data driven reason to partially shutdown or shelter in place, then we need to open up. I am very frustrated in my position at the lack of data behind decisions.
