Anyone expect Pike to reach out? Could be a good it as we need ball handlers badly.

He's from the Bronx. mmmm. He appears to be a Pike type of player. To me, he's so so. He's not an impact player and he can't shoot though he can play defense. I'd prefer Sessoms given the choice.
I don't see anything special about his game. I guess he is a good on ball defender. But, he lacks height and length at 6'0.

Good question. I hope to be proven wrong and he has a transformative off-season, but we may need to recruit over Jalen.
Toussaint was always a guy I thought would be a much better fit with Pike than in Iowa and I've said for the last couple years he should transfer here. Would have been awesome if he had him this past season
He would be a great get and fit as long as we bring in a legit wing scorer.

This is a pike kind of guy. Lightning fast and plays really good defense.

This fascination by some fans with players that can't shoot/score needs to stop.
I have had similar opinion of him. Told my son when we played them this year that I hope he comes here.
His speed just allows him to miss more shots at a faster pace.
He's very good on ball defender though, so the increased possessions will result in more turnovers
Speed also allows him to turn it over more. So, he can't shoot and he is a turnover machine. That's a Great Combination. Missed shots or turnovers !!!

Anyone 6 feet tall needs to be a much better shooter, especially if transition offense is not a point of emphasis.
Good idea, let's write off a true freshman guard who plays great defense in the big ten
ok he can obviously create some shots for others, moreso than Miller
but still just a defensive guy who can't shoot

I don't disagree with you but we know pike really likes defense first guys who ideally are quick as he likes to run and get out in transition.
