The 81 year old DiGenova had signed on last year to lead a sprawling probe in Florida investigating people Trump hates.
When asked why he was quitting, DiGenova simply said he was moving on. I think that means he is still lucid enough to want to keep his license to practice law.

This all follows the AP report from earlier this week about subpoenas ramping up in the case.

By the sound of it, there was disagreements by diGenova that didn't compel him to want to stay on the case any longer. Whether it was because the facts didn't align, or the case wasn't aggressive enough is unclear.

This is what I was assuming. Joe made a living going on Fox and spouting BS, but when it comes to putting your name on a court document he yielded to reality and the fact that misrepresenting facts in court would have consequences.
