After today’s performance, JMike is shooting 53% on 10-19 from the arc this year so far.

It’s early but I gotta give him credit for the improvement he’s shown in that part of his game.
Yes indeed.

He has improved overall as a player and him and grant are the only two I really enjoy watching so far

there’s a lot of Francis apologists on here but I still think he’s been average to below average in two games against high majors and over the long haul will struggle … I hope I’m wrong

This. He needs at least 10 FG attempts per game, even if he has some duds. This was his first game crossing that threshold

Last year in Big Ten play he shot 10 of 25 for 40%, which suggests he has become a pretty good 3 point shooter. He should shoot the 3 whenever he is open.

Yes, his 3-point shooting has been outstanding after starting 0-7 in the first 11 games last year. In the last 21 games of the season he shot 14-35 for 40%.

So he has continued to shoot it very well. As others have said, he should take more threes, especially with that level of consistency (44% over his most recent 28 games).

Davis is best player on the team by a long shot
He needs to be more consistent before you can say that, I think. I had just said before the game yesterday that hes actually been a disappointment this far, after like the 1st two games. Need to see versions of yesterday more consistently.

Davis showed he is a real threat from deep. Grant, Francis, Badalau and Zrno can all shoot the 3. They do it way more efficiently than midrange. Should drive and pass back out more and look for open 3s or shoot at the basket.

Mark and Powers probably are also good from deep in practice. Hopefully they turn things around in games soon as they are a combined 0-13 from 3.

J Mike has turned into a pretty good catch and shoot 3 point shooter. We have to get him some looks for corner 3s or from the wing off penetration
Yeah, Pike getting someone looks, OK.

He got them in the flow of the offense when the extra pass was made and on kick outs/ after offensive rebounds. Best time to take a three. He just missed that one with about 1 minute left and Zrno ‘s three with 25 seconds left went in and out , that would have cut it to 2 points.

Little early to tell. Too small sample size. Time will tell
44% from three, over his most recent 28 games, shooting 24-54, seems like a decent sample size, covering almost a whole season worth of games.

If you’re saying he should shoot 5 threes per game, 150 attempts in a season, where he makes 60 of them for 40%, then I agree. He needs to shoot them more and continue making them at a high clip.
