As a Niners fan, I am very concerned. I get that he’s coming back from a major injury, and there’s going to be rust from missing 9 months. However, even if he’s not able to make all the throws yet, I wanted to see some poise out there, and he looked completely rattled last night.

It’s far too early to write him off yet, but there haven’t been many good signs since SF signed him

The thing with him is that you haven't seen him play meaningful minutes in the NFL more than a handful of games. At least with Dak, Jerry knows what kind of QB he gets for the contract. Playing behind Brady got Matt Cassel a good contract and he wasn't very good and now Garapolo. He did get hurt so maybe he turns out to be a good QB but he is getting 27.8 Mil and the people are saying Dak isn't worth 30 Mil are insane. I guarantee San Fran would trade in a heartbeat.
