His coach's take: “He reminds me a lot of (Seattle Seahawks defensive end Jadeveon) Clowney. He has that same type of quickness off the ball. If he gains another 30 pounds, he can go as far as he wants in this sport.”
An opposing coach: “The guy is a freak,” Tigers coach Nathan McDaniel said. “He is just an unbelievable athlete – fast, hard to block. And, for someone who hasn’t played football in a long time, he’s pretty savvy as well. He’s a Division I guy, and you can tell it.”
A much better version of Alex Davis, another roundballer who took up FB late?

I hope we land this guy. But If we only land Kaden Johnson, Blaise Gunnerson, Mauga-Clements and Jimari Butler to our current OLBs (J Domann, C Tannor and G Nelson)...I think that would be a solid OLB crew for now and the future. GBR and fingers crossed...

Davis was a 2-star being chased down by programs like Georgia State and Bethune-Cookman. Butler has offers from the SEC, Big 12, and the Big Ten.

There might be some similarities to the background, but Butler is clearly at a different level.

I'm not ready to sleep on Jamin Graham either. He missed most of 2019 after Shoulder surgery. Kid was a big time playmaker with a freakish wing span. Its kind of an underrated statistic, but Graham caused a bunch of Interceptions in high school due to pass reflections and tipped balls. He had offers from the SEC, ACC, Big 12, and the Big Ten.

Butler finished regular season with 60 tackles, 22 TFLs, 14.5 sacks, and 21 QB hurries... I think someone said after playoffs he had 18 sacks.

Let’s bring him here, give him to Duval and see what he can do.

Butler has recently liked tweets by that KSU-loving tweeter guy, that always tells recruits not to sign with Nebraska.

That guy is seriously unhinged, he has been doing that for years.

Let’s hope for some good news today on Butler fellas. I don’t know what time he’ll announce, but I’m sure somebody will be paying attention.

I think you’re on to something. He has very high ceiling. Expecting good production in the coming years.

Manhatter??
There's a blast from the past. Who knows, this guy has had a bunch of twitter screen names. He harasses recruits until he get thrown in twitter jail and then changes profiles. Here are some of his tweets at Butler and he does this to every Nebraska recruit, completely unhinged:

Imagine your life being so bad that you have to try to find meaning by constantly tweeting teenagers negative stuff about a football program you don’t like. And then doing so for years on end. I really pity a person that is in that dark of a spot for so long. It must be a truly sad existence.

I doubt he'll be making his decision based on tweets from an anonymous twitter troll with no profile picture. He's liked plenty of positive Nebraska tweets as well from fans and fellow recruits. Seems like he just "likes" all of the tweets that people send him.

Sometimes he uses the hashtag #notbraska on twitter, found that out in the comments on the above post. Looking up that is a fun trip down memory lane: Jamire Calvin, Foster Sarell, Greg Johnson, Rahyme Johnson, Isaiah Hodgins. The guy is dedicated, got to give him that.

I particularly liked this one to Alante Brown. Apparently we are just loaded with WR now.

I wasn’t saying he based his decision off of that tweet. He knows where he’s going. I just didn’t take that as a good sign for us, but if he likes every tweet that comes his way then it doesn’t matter.

Imagine what your life must be like, if you have got to the point where your hatred for a program has grown so big that you need to spend your free time, or maybe all your time learning the program so you can tweet at 17-20 year old kids about how Nebraska is the worst program in the history of football, and Frost is Hitler reincarnated. Yikes.

He hates Nebraska so much he is trying to get Butler to go to TCU, where he will play against KSU. Talk about unhinged.
