I am not a Catholic. Why should that Catholic explanation mean anything in a secular government.
always get a kick out of secular gov't talk when it's clear we are not now nor at the founding. Our entire judicial system is based on Judeo Christian values

I get a kick out of people up in arms over this one 'right' but have no problem infringing on other rights. hypocrites the lot

and no, no one in their right mind thinks banning contraception et al is good or going to happen.

I am curious how many people have actually seen videos, at various stages, of an abortion?

Because politicians can’t help but exaggerate and lie. Biden does it. Trump did it. Obama and Bush did it. Goes with the territory.

What cracks me up is people who hang on every word uttered by a politician of “that other party” waiting for an opportunity to pounce and then, when it‘s a politician from their party, doing a 180 and excusing every false or exaggerated utterance with “everybody know what he meant”.

It’s just such a moronic game. And yet people do it their whole lives.
I couldn’t possibly agree with you more!!

I guess that makes you one of the hypocrites then.

Also, almost all Republicans voted against contraception’s yesterday, so yeah that’s actually a thing. Yay religion 😂

Brain surgeons can't understand the difference between freedom of religion and freedom from religion. Hint: there is no freedom from religion. The government can't establish an official religion. That's it.

Imagine how empty a life as one who attacks those that believe in a higher power. Like the dope on a message board exists because the universe picked him to come to life and be a loser and support Chris Ash.

Blackout7, I really think you need to look up what hypocrite means. I’ll say it in trendier way…it doesn’t mean what you think it does.

Are you arguing that we are a Judeo-Christian nation? I could not disagree more with that notion.

The US is the most visible and tangible product of the Enlightenment, which championed man as a rational being capable of using reason to ensure a republic of informed, engaged citizens. The Enlighenment espoused science and research to understand our world, rather than belief in a higher power. Jefferson himself, as well as Madison, called for a form separation of Church and state. Many of the most prominent members of the founding generation were professed deists, not Christian.

So, i think it’s demonstrably wrong to say we are a Judeo-Christian nation. Rather, we are a nation that tolerates the practice of any persons religion, or their right to practice none at all.

So you say. A little light on the facts fatso. How about some info in between donuts.

I don’t say. The numbers do all the talking. Hospitalization rates, mortality rates. Feel free to look them up. Or not, or go back to Rutgers sports, squirt. This level of discussion is beyond your ability.

Post them and don't be so unhappy because of your morbid obesity.

Watch Dr. Berg and he will help you with your fatness. That might make you happier. Won't make you smarter. You'll still lose the maze race to the rat.

Each and every poster (except you) is more than capable of looking up said statistics. Most already know them. But you’re boring me. Probably happens to you a lot, hey squirt?

I posted plenty, but you're too fat to do anything but lay there and bark at the moon in between large, sugary drinks.

Its an incredibly effective vaccine. While the instances of infection increase over time as the virus evolves, the vaccine still significantly limits instances of severe illness or death. The vaccine has allowed the world to, for the most part, return to normal behavior and activity. There is no rational argument or statistical fact that lends credence to the notion that the vaccines are ineffective,

Those are facts.

Those screaming that the vaccine is ineffective aren’t interested in reality. They are solely interested in winning some intellectually hollow partisan argument. In and of itself, such views are irrelevant, However, over time, these partisan views influence the ignorant and lead to poor choices, which leads to illness and deaths that are avoidable.
Nobody is saying the vaccine/ vaccines are totally ineffective what they are saying and rightfully so is the vaccines are nowhere near what a vaccine is supposed to accomplish. Please don’t tell us about the annual “ flu vaccine”. The claims were premature at best with covid 19 vaccines and though they are saying it “ helps” or prevents serious illness - death the fact that they refuse to release verifiable data regarding all the up to date findings speaks volumes. Going on 3 years soon and already we are being told by (what else ) our trustworthy media that the fall- winter is going to be bad. Really? The masks were proven to be BS and destructive to the young .How many on this board who got vaxed, boosted , got covid and then boosted again? Just tell the TRUTH for once. Nobody is absolutely sure both virologists, doctors and especially elected politicians and school boards.Enjoy your weekend … stay well… live long and prosper and don’t let the door hit you in the ***.

You think our laws were formed at a time to follow the Catholic faith?

I will have to go back and research it but at the time of the constitution I am not certain our Christian citizens considered Catholics actual real Christians

Do you consider Deists to be Christians

But why do they push the "you won't get it" line? All you have to do is compare the hospitalization rates. Case closed.
People actually care what political people say about medical issues like vaccines

I actually listened to my doctors and made my decision based on their recommendations

Okay scarecrow. Western civilization is based on Judeo-Christian law. Don't like it? Suck it anyway. Even deists recognize a deity. Duh. **** for brains.

The Ten Commandments are the basis of Western civilization.

You slobs always look for loopholes to bend reality to your warped and diseased view of a world that never existed outside of your tiny mind.

Guy speaks up about supporting the rights of the most vulnerable among us and every weirdo jumps in to call the guy a "fetus saver" and "baby hero".

Nah. That didn't happen. They all came in and said they want him silenced and that baby killing is a constitutional right even though it's not.

This thread is the twilight zone. I feel like every crap reject from every fairy tale is here so I can just slap them around and then ignore their response. Total Angmo playground.

If I don't respond to you, it's because you are worthless and not the right material for my cult. So you should start your own. Call it the I shat my pants club or something.

Feel free to argue amongst yourselves. I'll check back in a few days. Cheers folks.

I do recall during the Boston Massacre trial Sam Adams argued that the deathbed testimony of a witness Carr should be discounted because he died a Roman Catholic

And was the term papist a derogatory term used during that period

What is wrong with him supporting a charity on his own time at essentially a private event? It is in line with his religious beliefs, something that a lot of people scoff at nowadays. This had nothing to do with his duties as coach.
I completely agree with this.

Actually the 10 Commandments which some might claim is the basics of western civilization's Judo/Christian law might not be a gift from GOD but taking from a set of Babylonian laws
>The Hammurabi code of laws, a collection of 282 rules, established standards for commercial interactions and set fines and punishments to meet the requirements of justice. Hammurabi's Code was carved onto a massive, finger-shaped black stone stele (pillar)<

Yeah. You busted it wide open. Gilgamesh had a flood story too. Thanks for the history lesson 7 year old.

Okay. I really mean it that I may never revisit this ******** thread again. Maybe in month but it will wither on the vine. Or morph into a search for the lost city of Atlantis. Godspeed my disciples.

Lmao ...powerful self-discipline.

15 minutes, a full quarter of an hour!
You're unhappy with your scrawny body. You exercise and lift weights but you hate the fact that you can't put on weight or muscle. Women don't find your Ichabod Crane body attractive but they dig the pumpkin head. I've done decades of work with the handicapped and less fortunate. Godspeed friend.

What a ****!
