Was hoping Chase would see it through. Best of success to him. Sitting out a year will give him a chance to heal also. OFC

I'll say it this sucks! I liked chase a lot and him and Luke are good friends so might mean he's gone for sure too

I'm defiantly sad to see him go. Loved the hustle and energy he brought to the team. He was always cheering on his teammates too.

Wish Chase the best of luck wherever he goes.

Damn. I think that's a big damn loss, because I think that we lose Marques too. And that one guy over at the national board is insisting Jackson is going?

Damn. Next year could be a pretty rough year. Well, at least guys like Vrank and Javin will get a LOT of burn. Fingers crossed it won't be as bad as feared, and that we'll get enough non OADs to stick around and have a team the next year.

The guy on the National board is trolling.

Best of luck Chase. I always liked his passion on the court and on the bench. He showed some real signs of development and maturing this year, and he's going to be successful wherever he ends up.

And.......in all this uncertainty ONE THING I do know for sure, we are still going to be DUKE next year, and I'm still gonna pull hard for whoever is wearing the uniform!!!

Go Duke!

On the bright side, can you imagine a freshman Zion Williamson, Junior Javin, and Senior Vrank at the 3-4-5 spots? I might be thinking too far ahead...

You can't continue to not give PT to top recruits. Could potentially hurt future recruiting. Our bench should have been much deeper this year. Sure, I understand Chase was hurt for a good portion of the season, but we have to do a better job. These types of things can't look good in the eyes of future recruits with Duke on their list.

I'm no where near surprised. This kid and his family saw the writing.

Many in his camp felt he should've played next to Amile or be the first Big off the bench. They knew Harry was never fully healthy and there was a slight chance he would not even play. The recruitment of Marques was the first blow.

This will happen at Big programs or just programs in general. That year off of training will do wonders. I pray he finds a school for his skill set. He has that Landen Lucas potential for College Ball.

I'm actually pretty bummed about Jeter transferring. I thought he gave us some excellent minutes at the beginning of the year before getting hurt. I am a big supporter of his and always loved his attitude and energy.

I truly wish him nothing but happiness and success wherever he goes.

If Grayson leaves, vrank will be our only senior in the next two years

Boy times have changed at Duke. Not good.

Really hope Grayson stays. Duval, Jackson, Grayson, Carter & Bolden is nice starting five if we stay healthy.

Chase will have a great college career much like Semi wherever he chooses to go. Sadly I do not believe he would offer much in the Duke system next year. Vrank, has shown just as much promise if not more than Jeter. Good Luck Jeter! I will root just like I do for most transfers, until they play us.

Jeter was hosed IMO, they said I obviously know nothing behind the scenes

Why, he was not very good, not a good defender, rebounder and looked like a deer in headlights on offense at this stage in his college career......now he was getting better and could end up being a really good player in the future, but Duke had better options in front of him and lets be honest.....he just did not have a very good Freshman year and then he got hurt this year.

I agree. We cannot screw this up again this upcoming season. The exits may help us this year, but going forward it would be awful for recruits to see us not playing 5 stars and taking early tourney exits.

Harry is gone. No way he stays around in college to prove anything when he can do the draft workouts, impress the scouts with his athleticism, and become a top 20 pick. When you've already had two new knees, you've gotta go for the money ASAP. Honestly shocked him and his buddy Tatum didn't announce together.
