Will be fired at end of year

I think most coaches are getting a pass this year unless they've had a huge track record of failure (as we've seen with Boston College).

I bet Vandy wished they still had Kevin Stallings based on how his replacements have done since he left (and its not like Stallings did all that great in his new setup either).

Tell that to Derek Mason; their now former football coach

He's pissed the refs screwed us all night and he still couldn't beat UK.

I loved the 3 second call on IJ, I don't remember the last time I saw that. Plus 2 fouls on us going for loose balls on the ground that was 50/50 LMFAO.
They sure did try to give Vandy the game, that’s for sure. It’s truly unbelievable some of the calls that go against us. LOL @ the 3 second call. I missed that one.

On topic, **** Jerry Stackhouse! He’s a little ***** that tries to use the race card to his benefit, when there’s nothing there. I have zero respect for individuals like that. They can go piss up a rope.

We did try and give the game away as usual also!

You are correct about Stackhouse and must remember he's a AFAM Studies Graduate at UNCheat so he knows his cards to throw on the table!

Playing devil’s advocate...is it possible that this is just a wave that was too quick and so it only looks like he’s dismissing Cal? I’ve kind of gone back and forth watching it a few times

Stallings had them competing for SEC titles for much of his time there. Sometimes the grass isn't really greener on the other side of the fence at all. Stallings had a couple bad years right after he had one of the best teams in Vandy history.

No. that doesn't fit the narrative.

I think you’re reading too much into it. Just looks like coach upset at his team losing a winnable game at home.

I feel like if he wanted to throw shade, he’d just turned and walked off without acknowledging Cal. Upset coach that lost to a blue blood team on a down year. Not like those opportunities happen often. Bearing UK looks nice on a resume for a bigger school.

I used to think the concept of “fit” was something AD’s talked about when they wanted to fire somebody without completely trashing them. I don’t so much think that anymore. I think Stallings was a good fit for Vanderbilt. The separation ended up being bad for both parties.

He's in the wrong place if he thinks his coaching is going to overcome the lack of talent. I did't like Stallings but I doubt if anybody ever does as good as he did at Vandy. I also doubt if anybody last as long as he did there.

Look up an article on him talking about why vandy fans are unhappy with his job performance. Will tell you all you need to about him.

Yep. It’s gross and despicable to be honest. It really really is.

I don’t understand why some people can’t just accept and understand that other people don’t like sucking. If he goes another 2-3 years of similar $hitty seasons like this year and Vandy fans want him gone he will still say and believe the same.

People don’t care lol. They just want their teams to be successful and not suck. It’s very simple.

I have zero respect for him after reading that article. Complete nonsense. Just imagine what he tells the players. People with that mentality spread disease like a fly.

Stallings has always been one of my least favorite coaches, ever. That said, Stallings had them competitive every season. They probably needed to refresh the program but Stallings would be in better shape most likely.
