lol....beat Vermont and Colorado for a date with Kansas in the Sweet 16. I know it's just a way too early projection but you couldn't have dreamed that would happen six months ago.
Rutgers and Colorado can not meet until the championship game at the earliest. If they do meet, let there be a power outage to prevent the game from taking place.:WideSmile:
Brad Wachtel has us as a 7 seed vs Florida in Cleveland. Should we win, it’s a date with #2 Louisville.
Palm has us and previously had us ranked very high several spots ahead of Lunardi and others . Though a 4 seed is great, its in Spokane (ugh)

Vermont in first round is Nightmare Scenario, they have owned us over the years!! Well, OK, we are 0-1 with the only game in 2009 at the RAC. I vaguely remember the game. I looked it up. How on earth did FHJ find a way to lose with Rosario, Echenique, Coburn and J Mitch in the starting lineup with Dane Miller and Hamady coming off the bench???

in reality its HIGHLY unlikely that RU as a 4 would get placed in the NY region at MSG....as a 7 thru 11 seed sure but they wont be giving that big of an advantage to a 4 seed over a 1
its more likely RU winds ups in the Albany first and 2nd round games and then winds up in LA

I've watched your team develop over the last couple of years......they have certainly earned their success. I saw this story, and it reinforced my thought that RU will be a tough out in the tourney because of how hard & well they play on D. There won't be many teams out there used to that style.
As far as the rest of the RS goes.......you'll manhandle Nebraska by 20 at least. I don't think you'll lose any home games. I think the most difficult game will be Illinois. As far as road games go, I think you'll beat PSU. You match up well with them. I don't think you'll win any other road games. The 3 you'll have the best shot at are OSU, Michigan, and Wisconsin. I don't think you beat Purdue at Purdue in their final home game of the year. So I predict 20-11 overall, 12-8 in the BT, with 12-8 being something of a floor, because I don't think Michigan or Maryland are tough enough physically or mentally to beat RU at RU. Purdue will play hard at RU, but they don't have the offense to beat you there.
Good luck....I think you guys & Illinois are the most interesting BT stories to watch this year.....
What is crazier to dream is you win 2 games to get to the Sweet Sixteen at MSG and it will be just a bigger sold out RAC just like 2006 in Football. It is great and awesome to be able to dream. 13 to go with it starting Wednesday night at Iowa.
If we continue to win and if NCAA was a lock how much would people care about the B1G tournament?

That’s pretty good analysis from an IU fan. I think it’s fairly accurate but with this team who knows. We are still getting better every game. We are all pretty excited to see where this story goes. Thanks for the post!
