I have to disagree as well. Is it a disappointing class? Yes I'll say that. But we still got 2 top 10 guys and 2 solid wings with 3 really good guys coming back. To say it's "crappy" is ridiculous. Will there be 40-0 talk because of our talent overload? Lord no. But this is not the worst team we've had in Cal's time here. I still expect great things from them.
I like the squad we have - but we need Murray. He stretches the floor and provides depth. I could be wrong, but I anticipate Ulis, Briscoe and Murray all starting. You put Alex and Skal in the paint and we should be a very good offensive team with a lot of flexibility due to the ball handling of all three guards.
Murray would be huge for us next year. Again, I think we will have a good team regardless but anyone who says "do we need Murray" - is a troll and an idiot.

MJ just said he thinks today is Murray's last day on his visit at UK. Who knows if he will visit anywhere else though.
I sure hope not unless Murray is committed. I also bet Coach Cal may not be finished in the Bigs department. Just a hunch but it will be after Murray's decision if he does decide soon...I doubt Cal let's any one recruit dictate his recruiting again. That is just a hunch as well. Coach K adjusted to one and done but I think coach Cal is ready to take another step....jmo
I know I've joked about it incessantly in the past, but if we get Murray I really think it could finally happen.
It won't be a bad year if we land Murray. It will all be worth it in the end if it happens. But we have missed out on a ton of recruits. Might be a blessing in disguise.

Not in Lexington myself, but I gotta imagine that his visit, given the circumstances of the last month and a half, has to be generating some SERIOUS buzz around town. Probably some of the most for a recruit under Cal... like an MKG or John Wall.

Yea, you are ridiculous. Did I say the class was terrible? My point is we still have holes on our team due to missing on so many recruits. Take a reading comprehension class champ, it will do wonders.
For every other team, you are correct, this is an incredible class. However, for a team like team like us where we have to replace nearly an entire team on a yearly basis,just having a few guys that are projected high draft picks does not mean as much as it normally would.
Are you still going to ***** if we get Murray? We will have everything we need with the exception of one more frontcourt players, but you don't get what you need every year. We will have as much, or maybe a little more than Duke had this year.
