I only remember one "lights out" shooter...Douby......were there others?

The ONLY year since 1991 that we could shoot the ball was the NIT finals year. Is it any surprise that was our best team in recent memory?

. Douby s junior year when he was insanely good he was the only weapon we had and we were a one trick pony and we were no a good shooting team

How many PG have we had who can beat his man off the dribble and kick to get open 3s. We have been lacking athletic wings and penetrating PGs. Guarding the perimeter is a lot easy against a RU team.

2006 and 2013 were only years we were in the top 100 in 3pt fg%. 95th and 82nd in those 2 years is still nothing to write home about.

The Billets could shoot. Jerome Coleman for one year, Ricky Shields was a streak shooter.

Jeff Greer and Damon Santiago in his senior year

Jonathan Mitchell senior year was some stellar shooting: 48% from 2; 39% from 3; 79% from the line. Dude had a pure stroke.

Mitchell was a good shooter.

Eli Carter as a freshmen was a good shooter scoring over 30 points to defeat Florida.

Having one good shooter does not make a good shooting team

Saw Grier a few times as a freshman at FAU, and he looked like a shooter. Never understood why his PT kept dwindling. But Matt Doherty's replacement, Rex Waters (the G from K State) was not the best handler of players.

Doherty then Walters. Yuk.

Sigh - we really need shooters. Carter was the last one we had.

Quincy Douby could shoot.
