I'll take Morton long as he knows he's a 7-15 minute guy with the occasional +/- 5 minutes

Why would we turn away our best player from the last two years? 20ppg and a fifth year senior. With any help at all you would be crazy to not have him back.

I've been an avid UK fan my whole life, but I don't have to lie to myself or believe everything is rainbows and sunshine. I can be honest about where the program is and what our recruits are. You seem to struggle mightily with that.
I don’t just look at ppg. I have been around basketball my entire life. Without Ortega we don’t even have a winning record. I don’t get into all of that analytic crap. Like the poster above said, at some point many of the players quit even if only for moments at a time. Fans quit too. But anyone who wouldn’t want OO back for another year, just doesn’t know ball. Period. He will lead and be a better player with better players around him. Doubt if he comes back but we would be lucky to have him.

For high school rankings have some value. Not definitive by any stretch one way or the other but broadly in the ballpark more often than not.
The portal rankings though seem to mean very little other than a few obvious guys in mostly random spots in the top 25 peppered in with some guys that are no better or worse depending on fit and usage from #198.

Oweh is a good player just don’t see him meshing with a new roster very well… he looked disinterested some games and then others he would just look to get his and play very little defense, then others he same can be safe for the whole team as far as no defense I understand that.
