If that is really Sanch's house, he deserved it. He was more reliable than the sun rising. I can still duplicate his whistle

It is his house. I researched his whereabouts a few years ago and found out he lives in Tallahassee. I've thought of going over there, let out a whistle like he used to, and see if he comes to the door. He's in his mid 80's today.

He made that on sandwiches? What were the sandwiches a front for a drug ring?
Wasn't it obvious he was making a boatload of money when you were at NU, or was the Sandwichman before your time? He probably retired around the time you were a student at NU. Cool dude who knew practically everybody on campus. He also had a huge German Shepherd dog that would quietly follow him around when I was there.
In today's dollars, he was grossing somewhere around $1000-$2000 a night from what I figured. He sorta stumbled into a small gold mine there selling sandwiches, ice cream bars, and milk. I thought of doing it at Wheaton College but I ended up working in a plastics factory that made motorcycle fairings, office chairs, and dildos.

He worked 7 days a week all through the school year, and in the summer he had a license to sell in some Chicago park where people played little league and soccer.
He earned what he got, no doubt about it.
