This state university of New Jersey spiked the ball to stop the clock, problem was it was 4th down.

Got to defend CL on this one. The sideline sticks had thrird down and the coaches were signaling to spike. Look at the replay CL looks confused like "damn I thought it was 4th down".

This wasn't on Chris at all IMHO the staff and sidelines should have known the situation, even from the play prior, and made 100% sure that would NOT happen.

Stop. He F'd up. On his own. Don't need to see him on the field again. Time to turn the page. New offense, new QB

Wrong! He f'up but not on his own. Put your hate away and look at the play and check out the sticks and look at the coaches. Agree new offense but.......... don't freak if you haven't read what Bobby wrote earlier, "starting QB this year, Laviano, at least for the first 4 games or so"

Have a nice night.

Somebody didn't love you enough as a child...
If anyone thinks Laviano had a great year and is the answer then they aren't being realistic. BTW my parents loved me with all their heart and soul. Miss them both. But being a Rutgers fan and watching the head coach leaving turnover QBS in the last 3 years is not my idea of fun.

Yeah, but NOBODY IN THIS F*CKING THREAD SAID ANYTHING ABOUT "LAVIANO BEING THE ANSWER".

Your tantrum was uncalled for. Period.

Tantrum??? And yes people in this thread are calling for Laviano to be the starting QB.
What did Rettig do wrong not to earn a start or a relief spot last year?

I just reread the entire thread. Nobody in this thread is "calling for Laviano to be the starting QB".

Seriously, you've gotten WAY too "get off my lawn" lately. I say this as a friend. It's friggin' football. There is ZERO at stake, here, at the end of the day. Go to the games, go to the tailgates, enjoy the day... or just don't. But the constant, endless, non-stop negativity... There's just no reason for it. Life is too short.

Wow, your reading comprehension stinks. If it is me your saying I called for him to start, please show me where. I said BOBBY said he will probably be the starter next year.

On Jeopardy, for crying out loud! The RU clue was the only one with a negative spin in the entire "College Football" category. Am I paranoid or are Syracuse grads controlling my TV reception?

Doubt it. Jeopardy is a California produced show.

Just for fun. There were at least 5 Jeopardy threads started. We certainly seem to have thin skin and a complex towards negative press.

Conspiracy or coincidence-Jeopardy asks this stupid question on the eve of signing day?

Yep. The big difference is that if he starts out crappy in the 2016 season....he'll be replaced...probably by Peyton Rettig.

Could have asked what school had the game won but botched a punt in the final 10 seconds to gift wrap a game for the other team in the same state?
