I get your point, but actually he needs to field the punts instead of letting them bounce down to the goal line.

WVU needs someone with half the ability of Tavon Austin to field kicks. There's NO excuse for NOT returning punts. But it's on the blocking scheme and carryout, too. If the blocking gives the returner 3 steps before anyone can touch him, as VT did for their guy, then you get those 40-yard returns.

Dana MUST do something about special teams. He can win against East Carolina, Delaware State and Kansas while working on it, but special teams have to be at the very least average by the time the big boys of the Big 12 show up across the field from WVU.

Seems like last year we had the same problem with our punt returner for a few games, then he got replaced by someone willing to catch the ball in traffic. Was it Jennings last year also who got replaced?
