He can’t be any worse than what we have witnessed from herro. Damn I want them to all do well but he’s in a real slump
Herro is shooting the three terribly but other than that his game is fine. If he gets his shooting back (or just become comfortable at collegiate level), he would be elite. His overall efficiency isn't bad. He will also become better defender.
It'll be hard for Baker to produce to Herro's level. He might shoot better, but he better bring more than that.
I don't see anything from Baker's movement (either earlier in the season or the last game) that looks to be a physical hinderance. He doesn't even wear a brace. However, I suppose he's pretty far behind the other backcourt players at this point. Also, I doubt he is in game shape. In fact, he doesn't look to be in great shape period. Just my perception.
When we have to hope there is a savior on the bench that hasn't had playing time that generally is a bad sign.
Let's hope the kid gets some clock and we can see if he can contribute. At this point I think he could take Quade's minutes. If he can come in and hit one three a game in 7-8 minutes of play i think he would be valuable. I think he will more than fine on defense.
That’s it. There’s potential that he can be a contributor. Anything beyond that would be gravy.

Even if he could be a spot up shooter would something but not knowing if he's fully healed, defense could be another matter.
Not a savior, but have no idea what or if he will produce. Have a kid who been around the program a couple years, maybe 10th of Depth chart, remember 2015.
Maybe laughable to you but truly think any positive Baker brings is a positive for the team
This team doesn’t belong in the same stratosphere as the 2015 team. 10th in line on that team is best player on this team!
I agree any positive anyone brings to this team is needed!
Has anybody actually seen the kid ever shoot a basketball in a game situation? I’m just gonna assume he’s a brick layer like 99% of Cals other recruits until proven otherwise. Jamal herro was supposed to be the next Jamaal Shepard too...
