Sitting out one year IS their buyout. I went in the military at 17 and it didnt take but a few hours to realize I was not military material but I had a 4 year commitment and I stuck it out.
I’m worried about my team? Hell yes I am. But this transfer bs actually HELPS my team. So, there’s that.
Yeah ... the "lowest transfer rate" is a weird flex. We absolutely have the highest roster turnover, whether it be to early departures and transfers combined. We certainly have had our share of transfers.
You made a 4 year commitment, they make one year commitments (as does the school) do you see the difference. The rule has nothing to do with commitment anyway, it's about money plain and simple.
Beyond that, sitting a year isn't a buyout. The coach doesn't have to sit, AD's don't have to sit, only players. Other students on scholarship don't have to sit out if they want to transfer. It's ********, and if you could be unbiased enough to look at it fairly then it wouldn't be hard to understand.
oh , I didn’t know you were the only unbiased one on the board. Smh
Get a grip. Sitting out one year is not that big a deal. It actually helps some of them to get stronger and better without wasting part of the year getting little play time.
