What a leader. So impressed with how he's handled all this.
I like Jeff Scott, but it seems to me he is simply trying to gain favor with his team by pandering to their illogical emotions. Leadership would be not practicing in response to when a police officer is senselessly killed in the line of duty trying to keep his community safe, and no one else talks about it because it's not the "wok" thing to do.

I just shake my head at these “protests”.
Let me get this straight. Riots and looting nationwide, Playoff's postponed, college athletes refuse to practice and coaches in tears all because a sexual assaulter gets 911 called on him, promptly refuses direct orders to stand down, then refuses to comply after a taser is deployed, then refuses to comply with guns drawn on him, and then decides to reach for a deadly weapon in his car? This is an example of racial injustice and warrants any of the outrage going on right now?
Lot of retards in this country.

They find a knife in Jacob Blake's car and unless you can see through a car door how would you know that there was a knife inside of his car. If you refuse to comply to an officer you should be shot seven times. Who was sexually assaulted, police were called because his girlfriend said he was on her premise without permission. Oh and then a seventeen year old white male with a gun who has just murdered two people and shot a third person walks down the street with a gun and police ride past him. Somehow you ask how is this racial injustice and why is there outrage. You are right there are lots of retards in this country.Let me get this straight. I agree 100%. It's pretty much what every coach has to do unless you want the media to try to ruin you.I like Jeff Scott, but it seems to me he is simply trying to gain favor with his team by pandering to their illogical emotions. I tend to agree in part. I get that there is a problem, but the issue in Wisky isn't anything like the Floyd case. There is a lot of uncertainty as to whether the cops acted correctly or not.
So if this is just about the Blake incident, I would say this is pandering.
But at the same time, a head football coach cannot sit there and tell his players that the fact they feel unsafe or discriminated against, doesn't matter. I get that.
Jeff Scott is a good man and I have a ton of respect for him. I will say that.
You are a moronOr 911 being called and another occurrence of police being unable to control the situation without shooting someone. Also the negligence of the police department to not have body cams after 3 years of being approved. People don't trust the police right now and that department failed themselves and their community.

The law doesn't say shoot a man in the back numerous times when not threatened. You are a moron
control the situation huh.... what exactly are you controller when the man doesn’t listen? And refuses to listen...
by the way.... it’s the law.... the way the country is suppose to work... LISTEN TO THE LAW
quit being naive
Illogical emotions? By what standard? One man's pandering is another man's support I suppose. As a leader, Jeff Scott's primary responsibility is to serve his team. Good for him for doing that.I like Jeff Scott, but it seems to me he is simply trying to gain favor with his team by pandering to their illogical emotions. I have a lot of respect for Jeff and I know he is trying to empathize with his players but the double standard and hypocrisy in this country is disgusting. Why is there only huge press and no practice when it’s an incident with a white officer and a black criminal? I can’t emphasize enough- comply with what the police tell you to do and you live to see another day.
Are we going to sit out of practice a day when a black senselessly kills a white? Plenty of those incidents have happened lately. And they are without question cold blooded murder. Nothing debatable. These are not innocent people who are being shot by officers.
