Jeezuz...hotel fire alarms!!!

I woke up at 3:51 this morning to the fire alarm chirping every minute in my room at the Mayo Hotel. I have never stayed here before. Took awhile for me to get my bearings, find the light and the phone and call the front desk. Very nice huge room, full fridge, stove and oven with sitting area but I really didn't want to be wide awake and pissed off at 4:30 in the morning on New Years Eve Day. I don't need an oven unless I was going to put my head in it. (Probably not gas anyway) They were very prompt and replaced the batteries. Now here I sit. Good Lord. Reminds me of the running joke I have with my brother Rulz about "sitting in a motel room with a bullet in one hand and a bible in the other ". It's kind of a dark joke when I actually type it out. Well anyway, Happy New Year everybody!!!

I don't know why, but I'm having a hard time picturing either one of you with a bible in one hand and a pistol in the other..... now a penthouse and a pistol, that I can picture.
