Come on now everyone, its the 2nd quarter and its easy for me to say JCA is the best team in the state regardless of class!
Not even close but they look good tonight. I’m not taking anything away from that at all.Funny cause I was thinking man JCA is great, but best in the state?!?! Not so sure.
Let's see how tomorrow's games shake out before we start the great debateCome on now everyone, its the 2nd quarter and its easy for me to say JCA is the best team in the state regardless of class!
We have to get past CG first…Then we can talk about the what if’s..See if JCA will play ESL next weekend.
Wow he is tough. If Jordan Anderson is 230 pounds I’m 200. That kids a beast!!
Not trueHow about being happy for the Jca kids. Everyone hates on them all the time and they can’t control how the ihsa places schools in the playoffs.
Don’t think anyone has ever said anything bad about the kids. Some have questioned where they should be ranked since they are clearly too good to be in 4AHow about being happy for the Jca kids. Everyone hates on them all the time and they can’t control how the ihsa places schools in the playoffs.
LolBoy the level of sensitivity in this thread is off the charts. I guess winning a state title isn’t good enough.
Maybe you should look up the rules before you post incorrect information. Not true can you please post the ihsa rules then So everyone can get clarification on how things go so we can stop the round and round debate
I didn’t post incorrect info I ask if someone can please post rules so we all can get on the same pageMaybe you should look up the rules before you post incorrect information.
Don’t believe there are any IHSA rules on people’s person opinions and how teams are ranked. Bottom line is JCAs schedule in the regular season and especially the playoffs do not stack up with the other top teams which leads people to question if they are really the top team in the area or state. Compare their schedule and playoff run to that of Lockport or Maine South and it clearly is not as tough. Not true can you please post the ihsa rules then So everyone can get clarification on how things go so we can stop the round and round debate

Apply to become a registered official while you’re on there too. They’re woefully short.Thank you I will do my research.
Eddie George. Not sure if he has the speed of Derrick Henry. He is very similar to the current freshman back the Illini have in McCray. Looks good and love his willingness to block. Had a nice catch at the end of the first half tooThis is the first time I’ve seen Anderson live. He looks like Derrick Henry out there. We’ll see if that continues at Illinois.
He’s taller than Eddie George - but we are arguing semantics. He does catch the ball well, and runs good routes. He’s probably my pick for player of the year.Eddie George. If it pays enough. Plus these officials all day have been awful. Guy in the Wilmington game catches a ball out of bounds and the official called it a good catch smhApply to become a registered official while you’re on there too. They’re woefully short.
Eddie was 6-3 also. Lausch has to be the player of the year. Anderson missed too much time and the team didn’t really miss a beat without him. He has been a beast in the games he has played. If only he was good enough for the SEC powerhouse of Vandy. ( just a jab at my man Micah)He’s taller than Eddie George - but we are arguing semantics. So is Wilmo! I think Kankakee could be too!Congrats Jca. Jca for the year is 20-0. That is a massive accomplishment.
Henry, George and Anderson are all 6-3 230-240 plus. He’s taller than Eddie George - but we are arguing semantics. He does catch the ball well, and runs good routes. He’s probably my pick for player of the year.
I nominate Kankakee as #1So is Wilmo! I think Kankakee could be too!
For sure. Was just comparing the size. Used to be unusual when George was doing it. Seems to be more common now. I am sure Anderson will get plenty of touches in BB system at U of I.Henry, George and Anderson are all 6-3 230-240 plus.
He is a terrific player but I’d pause on the comparison to two Heisman Trophy and multi all pro players. Let’s get him on campus first.
That was my first thought. I just hope he doesn’t get lost at Illinois. The program has turned out the occasional lineman or LB but skill kids not so much. He could go there and dominate with this skill set.For sure. Was just comparing the size. Used to be unusual when George was doing it. Seems to be more common now. Actually they have a good history of running backs with Mendenhall, Pierre Thomas, Mikel Leshoure, Jason Ford, Josh Ferguson and Reggie Corbin. Almost all of them got a look in the pros. That was my first thought. I just hope he doesn’t get lost at Illinois. The program has turned out the occasional lineman or LB but skill kids not so much. Mendenhal and Thomas had extended pro careers the rest were ok compared to the high level backs that the conference normally produces.Actually they have a good history of running backs with Mendenhall, Pierre Thomas, Mikel Leshoure, Jason Ford, Josh Ferguson and Reggie Corbin. True but the Illini have been pretty poor for the last decade. Also the state of Illinois hasn’t produced that many great backs in the last 10 years. I think JJ and Coleman are the only ones I can remember that have done much in the NFLMendenhal and Thomas had extended pro careers the rest were ok compared to the high level backs that the conference normally produces.
