What’s ISU recruiting wideouts been the last couple of classes?
I think his recruiter is Nathan Scheelhaase who is from KC. Went to Rockhearst in KC and started at QB for the Illini. Same recruiting class as Cody Green.

They recruit KC pretty well, that's probably why.

I'll take our 0fer the KC area recruits over the past however many years over any "insider" takes

You notice I’m not saying he’s a Husker or Clone. I have no idea. The man has kept things very close to the vest and it’s anyone’s ball game with this young man. I have noticed he’s came very close with Teddy Prochazka and several Husker 2021 commits though, so there is that.

I think he’s ours due to the timing of the announcement. We just got a WR commit so he knows the spots are filling up fast.

Looks to be headed to ISU. I think everyone just needs to see how this shakes out. We got a very good WR commit yesterday and will probably only take two WR this year, after taking 5 last year.

agreed. He’s a solid prospect but I’m sure we will be ok if we get him or if we don’t. And your right, Frost has already said this 2021 class will be a small one.

I hesitate to say it, because I know a segment of this message board hates to hear it and wants everyone to absolutely freak out over every prospect that goes somewhere else, but I do wonder where he falls on our board. I believe we will only take two WR and Hardy said in his interview yesterday, that he was told he was #2 on the WR board. Do we think Noel was #1? If not, would they take him now or make room for him? It seems that when it comes to recruiting, this staff always has a plan and that we don’t know about most recruits until they suddenly visit or commit.

that player that was committed to MSU May fall before Jaylin. Dudes 6’4 and he’s high on the Huskers.

According to Sam McKewon he is our top WR target, but I’m not worried. Now Fidone is a different story (and position). We have to land guys with his caliber if we ever want to be separated from the pack.

Nealy? We are recruiting him as a CB, right? Another Braxton Clark type. I honestly don’t know what to think of him and even Patrick Payton after Gray went in the portal. All those Miami guys seemed really close.

we can’t think like that though. Gray left due to family reasons and outside that, we have had luck down in the south eastern regions.

Interesting. I don’t think Sam has a clue any more than you or me, but if he’s right that would sting, but like I said, we will just have to wait and see how it shakes out.

Believe we could have had scheelhaase if we had wanted iirc.
Nate's uncle is a good friend of mine. He wanted to go Lincoln, but Big Nate, Nate's dad, and Watson had a run in. Big Nate, who was a starting db at Iowa had a run in with the Iowa staff and wasn't recruited by Iowa.
