I hope the straighthoops guy was not going off the fake twitter commitment from earlier today. Apparently many people believed it because the twitter handle was very close to Brown's real one.

No this guy isn't that moronic . Gotta admit with more then just him making it sound like Brown to UK is soon and with the sudden Kirk about face this looks good .

Adidas = Michigan for Brown. If he goes to UK then I have to assume money is changing hands. If he goes to a Nike school then why go to Kentucky when he can come to a title run ready UNC? If he passes up playing for the best coach in the nation in Roy and playing for an honorable program and learning to live the "Carolina Way" at UNC to go to UK then he has to be getting paid.

No, two flips Monday morning (before the the StraightHoops tweet) started the trend. StraightHoops tweeted "I'm hearing Diallo to Kansas" over 5 hours after the 2nd flip.

Again, it takes more than being right on Ingram (obvious) and Diallo (trending) to be a reliable source. I'd be impressed if he called Newmon to Miss St., but I'm not surprised we don't see a single Newman tweet.

Ummmm.... everybody knew Newman was going to MSU.

IT WAS 300,730,765x more obvious than Diallo to ku was.

So you agree that people were calling Diallo to Kansas before StraightHoops and flipping to Kansas the same morning StraightHoops made their tweet?
Looking at his time line leads me to believe this guy said Diallo to KU before anyone else.. I could have missed someone saying this before him, but a day and a half before Diallos announcement he definitively said Diallo to KU is what he was hearing.

Same template of tweet with Jaylen. He never said it was a done deal, just sharing the info he had been given.

I post on the National Board and there are some good UK posters there. I came here to get other perspectives on Brown, as there are some very solid posters here, too. I don't think my posting has been out of line.

Michigan is only in this because Brown is an Adidas mascot.

There, You got the perspective. There's no need to post 500 times here. We get it.

I have less than 50 posts here and one could argue I've contributed more than you have. If your mods thought I wasn't contributing, I would already be banned. Drop the hostility.

Don't you think he would clarify his mistake, (if he got the info from a fake Twitter account), now that it is public

If this is true then UK wins the title. He puts us over the top with skill and athleticism. Brown with Briscoe and Ulis will be as dynamic a backcourt and wing as UK has ever seen.

Did we not learn our lesson this year, and the year before?

I hope you right.

1. No.
2. No.
3. Because Justin Jackson is a small forward there, they're not title run ready because they don't have a true facilitator, and no.
4. Not only no, but hell no, ol' Roy is definitely not the best coach in the nation.
5. There's nothing honorable about fake classes at a college. Nothing honorable about "the Carolina Way", and living the Carolina Way ultimately leads to bad publicity, and lawsuits, as proven by the s*** show that's been going on for a few months now. Remember? You all were b**ching about your woeful recruiting class because of it?

UNC would be a bad move. They have everyone back. Their best player plays the same position as Brown.

UK has a gaping hole at SF. With that hole filled by Brown, UK is a legit title contender.

He said that at the McD's game. But he is a teenager, they do change their minds.

Doubtful on this one, though. He's been adamant about the Adidas stuff. Why he feels he owes them anything, however, is beyond me - unless benefits switched hands. All Adidas did (on paper) was provide AAU stuff that any sponsor would likewise provide. Brown speaks as if they gave him a heart transplant.

Wolverine fans shouldn't take anything we say personally really, we're just in the midst of a month where everything that could go wrong has gone wrong and could really use some good news right now (like knowing for sure we'll have a team that can legitimately contend again next season instead of a season long UNCheat and Duke media slobberfest), and your team just happens to be the one standing in the way of 1 of the only 2 things that could possibly turn the mood around right now.

I'm just ready for all of this recruiting drama to be over with and our roster to be finalized (with Brown or Murray on board).

Nah, but if he needed one, he'd have better surgeons in Ann Arbor than Lexington. :)

He might not go to UK but he ain't choosing his future based on shoes . hell the only guy that i can honestly say has done that is Bazz Muhommad and he sister already was sponsered by Addias. Also isn't Michigan about to become Under Armour? Maybe that was a rumor but i never worry about shoe companies . Love how it has become a big thing in the world of enuendo and message boards though . ( this is not meant as a bash on you Saul just the overall sentiment . )

Brown said he visited us several times and it was obvious to him we was 'the top program, facilities, the way we do things, everything professional.' Said he has a lot of respect for the program and you could tell from his comments that it would be hard for him not to come here.

The MI thing is because his coach suggested them because of the way they spread the floor and makes it easier to go one on one. Think his uncle went there and called the school for him and his cousin goes there. His mother went to MI ST so he has a lot of comfort with the family ties to that state.

Read one piece that spoke of his loyalty to adidas and another that said that probably wouldn't be as big as some are making it out to be. So all in all, he seems to have the loyal family pull to MI but his heart seems to be saying UK. And that is strictly just reading different things about him and the way he says things.

His strengths are driving it right, rebounding and defending. Reads more as a combo 3 and 4 instead of a pure 3.

This seems to sum it up except the last sentence . He is a pure pure 3. Also he can shoot decently . Not great but the kinda guy who will be 35% from 3 and 70% from the line ( although he bricked freebies left and right in the MCD's game ) .

I miss the old format - really made profanity more tempting. I can't tell if this guy is quoting somebody else or what's going on here. Am I expected to tell somebody to go f'k themselves or - what is expected of me here? Also, has anybody heard from Preacher since the format change? my breathing seems unsteady. unc liked to fornicate with their African studies curriculum for two decades for the purpose of fraudulently keeping their players eligible, btw - many of whom were black and were never provided with an actual class to go to. JUST SO THE NEW FORMAT KNOWS!. The Carolina way has less virtue than the porn industry, and Roy Williams is about as good a coach as MY ***!@ have a nice evening.
