Not really relevant. Everyone is saying Michigan with UK maybe having a decent chance, but likely to finish 2nd.

In other breaking news, The Shiver is still convinced that Kansas leads for LeBron James.

They sure called this one and done-deal.

Michigan is the Adidas push here, not Kansas.

That's my fear here, that they found him another school with the same shoe deal that was more acceptable to the family than UCLA and Kansas.

Feels like the typical ADIDAS kid recruitment on our end... slowly cut schools and drag out the process until you're one of the last "top guys" on the board, keeping UK in the top 2 to generate more interest and buzz, build up a brand for yourself, before ultimately picking the school with the right shoe connections and give them a "big win" over Nike.

we will see but actually it seems the buzz is Michigan might of been a favorite but UK is looking good now . Doesn't mean we get him but i seriously doubt Michigan leads in his mind at this moment but who knows. I think with Newman and Diallo ect going elsewhere the reason Brown wasn't going to come here changed .

I'm starting to think that's what it's about.

Hopefully the brown's see that shabazz has been all but forgotten by everyone except for UK fans still bitter that he used us for pub for himself, his sister and ADIDASS.

Might be the reality.

Which, to me, shows us once more that Nike is doing something very wrong lately. I'm tired of this bedtime story every spring in regards to elite wing players.

Just drop the Adidas with every post jeez.

Obviously Mich is a player due to his roots being from their.
If he ends up picking us instead what are you all going to say?

I've thought this for some time 2. If UNC & UK are 2 of the last 3 then that's exactly what is happening. If I'm wrong I think UNC could be next

Not a chance. Brown has said he wants an Adidas school and that various members of his family hate Kentucky; just like Newman said he wanted to play point guard.

Our fans have ignored the signs because we're desperate for good news and still hurting over how nightmarish this month has been.

Michigan, he's going to Michigan.

UK keeps the attention on him. That's all it is.

I don't know why some of yall say Michigan. I mean hell they have Walton, Irvin, and Lavert at the 1, 2, and 3. Do you think he's wanting to play the 4. No he's gonna come here, play the 3, dominate, and go 2nd overall behind Skal.

I keep hearing about his family ties in Michigan. Then I found out it's his mom, she lives in Muskegon which is on the far west side if the state and quite a bit north. It has to be a 4 hour drive. Might as well go to Alaska state University.

I'd recommend reading the last page or two if you're looking for the reasons why he'd play at Michigan.

He can play the 4 at Michigan and still showcase his perimeter skills due to how JB runs his offensive sets.

Michigan will not be that strong even with Brown. They were an awful 15-16 team last year. They have no inside presence at all.

Brown never said he wanted an Adidas school.

He's probably going to michigan, but it's an awful decision. He'll be forced to play the 4 since their most talented players are a 1, 2 and 3 under 6'5. Belien's 5 star recruits have vastly underperformed. Gr3 couldn't get off the bench for the awful 76ers. Stauskas couldn't play for the kings, who have 0 good guards.

They'll contend in the Big 10. Plus, Brown is strange. He has said in the past that he's not sure if he wants to be the man on a bad team, or be a piece on a title-contending team. I'm not sure contending for a title is actually something he cares about.

Brown has indeed said he wanted an Adidas school - multiple times. Why else would Michigan be his imminent choice? He backtracked in that recent interview, but it didn't change his past quotes where he showed his true hand and intentions.

U go UK ... you're my kind of person.

I regret to inform you that you will be appalled at some of the grammar you see on this board.

But, hey ... we all love the 'Cats ! ! !

Our 3 and 4 are essentially the same position.

Michigan's team is loaded with shooters and Beilein likes to run a 4 out offense to spread the floor. I think that bodes well for a slasher like Jaylen Brown that can be dominant in space.

Also, he wants to develop his weaknesses as a player and his biggest weakness is his shot. Beilein's offense is pretty good for that.

It's a shame there is no Michigan board for their fans to post on.

There is a decent Michigan forum, but I like getting the perspective from who I think is the other top contender. My posting hasn't been trolling or out of line. Calm down.
