Quade Green to Villanova as their starting PG. Done deal.

**we should know better than to post this stuff as fact given how it comes up with Calipari all the time**

The buzzards on Around the Horn tossed it around and gave it some legs!

Why would any coach want to take that over mediocre franchise? That’s a coaching graveyard.

He’d be an idiot to leave. He’s the king of Philly and NY has nothing on the place though if Quade leaves my opinion of the place will change.

King of philly?? Really little villanova is actually relevant on the Philadelphia sports landscape? Do they even have a message board villanova??

It's actually nice that Cal's name hasn't come up for these jobs lately.
Must have to make the FF or better for the rumor to be worth something?

Stevens hadn’t won a NC.

He must have wanted the NBA job more than going to a better coaching job at a bigger school and winning a NC
Stevens left without a title. Wright has two. On to the next challenge for him. He would be perfect NBA coach and he is quoted as saying NBA intrigues him.

His reason for not coming to UK was he couldn't deal with living in a fishbowl and all the attention it brought to him

Granted, 2 national titles is going to get him some notoriety but still, coach of Villanova is about as quiet a life as he can have given what he has accomplished.

The Knicks have gone thru 11 coaches in like 20 years, Steve Kerr turned them down, they chased off Phil Jackson, Mike D'Antoni too - all 3 uber successful NBA coaches.

I can't imagine him even considering it for more than 10 seconds.

It may happen, but I just don't see Jay Wright in the NBA, but I didn't see Brad Stevens going either.

Who wants to coach those prima donnas?

Oh wait! That’s like coaching OAD’s

Oh wait! Wright doesn’t recruit OAD’s
Again, why would he go coach those prima donnas?

Philly guys don't coach NY franchises.
Also, Brad Stevens went to the celtics, not the Knicks, big difference.

Was Brad Stevens crazy to leave?
The Celtics had a ton of cap room and had just ripped that stupid Russian owner of the Net's in a trade that may go down as the worst in sports history... Plus the Knick's ownership is known for being the worst... Dolan, totally different scenario.
