I like Jasper, I think he's a great kid, but UK really went out on a limb getting him instead of Braylon Mullins for more money, and then his family wants to trash the coaching staff. He was dealt a tough hand this year, having to play out of position in a very tough and physical league. UK couldn't pay him the same amount though. I mean if he would have taken half I think you could have brought him back as long as he stayed in the weight room all summer. He just wasn't ready to play here as a freshman.

UK can pay whatever they want. The kid took less money to get away from Pope.

Perry took less money to get away from Pope.

Under any other coach JJ would have been a good player trending up by the end of the season. Instead he got worse.

If he was the only one then it’s on him. But it’s every player.
