The #Titans are releasing veteran CB Jason McCourty, source said. The longest tenured player on the team is moving on.

This was being talked about in the Nashville papers a while back. The Titans needed cap room, and Jason is making serious money. Someone will pick him (and his paycheck) up.

Hopefully the Pats...RUTGERS NORTH!

It would be awesome for him to play with his brother again.

Seahawks if they trade away Sherman for draft picks, they can easily sign Jason to help fill in.

The Cowboys lost Brandon Carr and Morris Claiborne. Would love to see a Scarlet Knight on this team for once (since Nate Jones).

[HeavenUniv.]

Hope he enjoys whatever team picks him up,but would be great if he was on one of the three local teams. Would have to help our recruiting some too.

Please let the Patriots pick him up.

Pats already signed a free agent CB from the Bills which made it easy to let Ryan go. Don't think they'd be interested in another high priced CB.

Eagles need CB's bad

I hope he plays again, the guy gives serious dough to RU

[yesrutgers01]

Why do we want the Patriots to pick him up?

[babbs09]

Anyone but the ******* Cowboys. I could live with the Iggles. If it ends up being the Pats that would be hilarious. Hope he gets a look somewhere.

It's been stated otherwise, unless that was just his brother.

My post was dripping with sarcasm, proportional to their income, most on this board donates more to RU than either of the McCourty brothers.

He's 29, he'll be on a team next week

So he wins a super bowl

Proportional value add to the school, no one comes close.

The guy isn't even 30 yet and people are speculating if his career is over. In a few more years when that is the case and he has some time to reflect on his professional success and the role RU played in his life, things may change with respect to philanthropy.

How do you know this? Not everyone makes things public.

So he wins a super bowl

So, NE is going to win the next 4-5 SB's?

Hoping steelers grab him

[Perricone7]

I cringe when people speculate on donations. First, it's likely all speculation and second, who cares. No one owes this program anything. The twins put in numerous years of excellent low paid labor for this school.

Could not disagree more.

[RUfinal4]

would love him on the Giants but ..they have Eli Apple and Janoris Jenkins as CBs. Rodgers Cromartie is the backup / nickle

The Jets have some guys not of Jason's caliber so he may make sense there (Morris Claiborne and Buster Skrine)
