This class is lining up to be pretty special if we can get 1-2 surprises, it would be a solid job by JoMo and company.

From seeing him over the last few summers in 7 on7’s all over the Jackson area he can honestly play both. He looks like more of a natural safety, but I have seen him line up at both positions during the new age of summer 7 on 7’s. Love this kid and hope he becomes every bit the legend that smoot was.

He could definitely play receiver but he has the higher upside as a safety.

that is definitely a good question because our previous staff would always place better athletes that play both receiver and db on the defensive side. I would think JoMo likes guys that are fast and can catch. I think Jones would be better as a db, but that's just my .02 cents.
