James Harden supporting Police gets him some backlash. Why?

Because anyone who doesn’t walk lockstep with Dems and BLM on every possible social issue is obviously a racist, nazi, klansman, Uncle Tom, tap dancing clown, etc. The intolerance of the left is the reason I can’t call myself a Democrat anymore after 35 years.

Democrats have been hijacked by the far left radicals, just like the Republican Party was hijacked by the Tea Party/ far right.

No place for moderates.

The Democrats nominated Joe Biden. And the left was apoplectic about him for the entire primary. You shouldn't mistake loud people on Twitter for a majority of the party.

If the Democratic primary were to restart today, there’s zero chance that Biden is the nominee. All IMO, of course.

Maybe so

But I don’t see who else it would be. Sanders, maybe? I didn’t feel like anyone liked Biden to begin with, he was just, somehow, the least unelectable

The Dems had some very viable candidates. Any of whom (except for Sanders) could have beaten Trump, given the current circumstances. The problem is those candidates were too moderate for the much of their party. The party feels they HAVE to court those on the far left to get those votes and Biden, in their minds, can get ALL the democratic votes - far left and moderate. Bottom line they feel Biden will capture ALL of the voters who aren't republican. Biden is the definition of a politician. He will say whatever he has to say, pander to whomever he has to pander to and say whatever he has to say to get a vote (See Will Ferrell in The Campaign). He'd just assume lie as tell the truth. We may have the 2 most lying candidates to ever run against each other in a presidential race. Giving either one of them a microphone has to be the most uneasy feeling in the world by their campaign managers.

Why did someone down vote that? Had a black friend at MSU that supported Reagan. He said he had backlash then. Same with friend supporting Trump now. Just the truth. I can not imagine being a conservative African American in today’s world.

If you want to be honest about it, neither party has had a good candidate for many years now, and they've all been divisive.

Last decent candidate in the general election we've had was W. And that's been a while. Both parties have had a few decent candidates in the primaries since.

This is gonna be great. It's going to be the BEST presidential election in the history of the world. Just ask any voter in the world. Their elections suck. Ours? The best. Absolute best. You'll see.

Harden has since clarified that he simply wore it because it covered his whole beard and "looked cool." Apparently no political statement was intended.

I think James is more concerned with life without strip clubs for a couple months than what's on his mask.

I have been called everything but a white Mississippi male by lots and lots of people for my stances on the flag, Kaepernick, BLM and other issues. I am old man that says too much in my old and bitter years.

I am not saying I am far left, I am probably more moderate. I do not agree with a lot the left says but I find it amazing that people hate Kaepernick and all he did was take a knee to bring attention to a problem and yet they rush to forgive or deny Freeze for getting hookers for underage boys to get them to play football for him. One is lying and using God's name to forward himself and the other is trying to right a wrong. Even if you don't think there is a problem, Kaepernick does.

I been called Antifa to N...-lover.. Hell, I thought that one was gone for good but I guess not. I told them damn right I am, and if you aren't, then you can't be a Christian and walk away.

Bush was a joke, come on now.
Doesn’t that make him a viable candidate? Or are you knocking the strength of schedule? I’ll have to say going up a reigning two time VP has got to be right up there with the toughest of matchups. Sure he had better coordinators, but on the field, talent was pretty even.

First of all, statistically their is no police bias against black people. That has been documented over and over. The George Floyd situation was wrong and will be dealt with but that is one situation.

Secondly, even if Kap had a legit position, his "first amendment rights" do not allow him exercise them ON HIS JOB. The NFL has always had positions on politics on the field, this is no different. If I owned the team, I'd be OK with whatever first amendment expression you wanted to do off the field. But the very idea that I can't tell you to not protest during the time I am paying you for, to keep from offending 50% of my paying fans that are paying your salary, is ridiculous.

I just watch the full interview and he said much more than that. What he said is that he wasn’t trying to make a political statement and that He wore the mask cover his full beard but he went on further to back the fact that police officer do deserve respect and they do matter. He More than backed it up.

I hate Kap and Freeze both. Equally. And Freeze apologized and admitted his error. Kap hasn’t done that yet.

You said that about as well as it can be said. It’s a business. Leave ur political BS at home. No matter which side of the political affiliation you Happen to be. And if you work for me, yes I have the right to tell you that. I managed a Fortune 500 company in the 90’s-2010. Very visible. I had a female employee Who was
very outspoken just like Kap. She was constantly interrupting city hall meetings and always had the press in tow. She called he media to our office one day to do an interview during her break. I knew it was gonna be Contentious even though it had nothing to do with our company.- it was an ongoing battle she was having with our mayor. I told her to do it away from the front of our building. Naturally She challenged me on it Like she did all authority and she stood directly in front of our corporate signage and shot the interview. I fired her the following morning. Not for her views.

I’m abt as Republican as you can get but I don’t mind a liberal who is consistent and uses the same set of rules and also uses logic and reasoning.

But if you think Trump is an animal for kids in cages and don’t think the same abt Obama, you deserve backlash.

If you think trump is a racist for his stance on THE WALL and illegal immigration and don’t think the same abt Obama and many other high ranking Dems, you deserve backlash.

I can go on and on but it won’t matter.

The fact people don’t get this is literally beyond me.

The same people wouldn’t want a player opening supporting trump “in the spotlight”.

Kap didn’t do his thing Bc he is such a good person. I feel sorry for people who really think that.

What other businesses make employees stand for the national anthem and have live singers singing the national anthem in front of you while you're "on the clock"? NFL made it political first not the players.
