There's way too much money pouring into the program and his recruiting clssses are building the type of depth where you'll have a tough time differentiating starters from the second team. This is the advantage OSU has had over the past 7 years. Now that advantage is slowly being neutralized. Right?

Yeah and Tenneseee has great recruiting, as does Florida, how is that working? Franklin lucked out with Barkley courtesy of Flood. If Schiano stayed or their was a competent HC here he would have been a Scarlet Knight. Plus Moorhead is generally keeping the offense afloat. Cannot wait until he leaves too.

Franklin is a slime ball and did slip out back door at Vandy during Rape invest, and LIED about viewing the tape and then telling players to get a lawyer.
There is a video though yesterday of him running down his player and pulling him back on field for not shaking hands post game with MSU..gotta give him props for that ..Ill find it.
Guys still a slime though.

Or, in other words............. he was so arrogant in his expectations that he never discussed how you end a game when you don't win..........

So make the game close. Play some defense.
Easier said than done. PSU has just lost two straight and now they're not only out of the playoff picture, they may be out of the B1G picture. They will want to take it out on their next opponent and that opponent is us. Even if we play lights out, it will be very hard to keep this game close.

Too bad, I would have loved nothing more to invite you over offer some good food and beverage and introduce you to a few good people. Maybe next year?

Thanks for the offer, but why would I want to do that? I don't believe in associating with people who have a different set of values that I do, and you and I are as different as night (or Knight!) and day.

Now I do believe in giving credit where it is due. Last year, some comments that Franklin made about PSU's rebound from the sanctions made it sound like he was ignorant to why they occurred and unsympathetic to the victims (the real victims). However, after the tOSU game this year, I give him credit for trying to acknowledge the pain that the scandal caused to its victims.

"More than anything I'm hurting for those kids in that locker room, ..."

Nut: listen to Trap. What separates PSU from going undefeated is depth. When LT Ryan Bates and DE Ryan Buchholz got hurt who stepped in? A DE 6' 3" 223lbs freshman for Buchholz and I'm not sure if Nelson stepped after being out since last March. I understand there's a good chance Franklin could persuade McSorley to stay another year and little birdie tells me he is working on Barkley.

Your little birdie is either lying to you or doesn't exist. Franklin would never entertain such a conversation with his players until after the bowl season when their draft positioning is better known. Baring injury in his last 3 games, Barkley is off to the NFL as a consensus first round top 10 pick.
