Charles Bassey? I don't know why we we aren't pursuing him harder either. I remember that he was on campus for an unofficial visit shortly after Coach Mack was hired. It seems like he fits the Mack mold perfectly. Must be other issues. Who knows....

Did you completely ignore the part where WKU was hiring his guardian? He isn't really a local recruit. A former trainer started an academy for bball players and there have been questions about it legitimacy. Neither us nor UK are seriously involved in a 5 star recruit who current resides in Louisville. The whole thing is shady. If we were to sign him I'd be worried if he actually be able to play.
