I suspect Winston is going to thrive with Sean Payton. I think Arians was a little to much of a let-it-all-hang-out coach for a QB as young and immature as Jameis. Sitting and watching a QB as disciplined at Brees should provide immediate dividends for his future.

It was Winston’s first year in the system that was probably much easier for the longer tenured Hill to run. Considering Brees missed half the season and the Saints still won 12 games tells you Payton was correct. He will likely be correct again choosing Winston in the long run. I think he could be a top 8-10 QB with Payton. Who thought Drew Brees was a top 5 QB 15 years ago?

I agree. CrabLegs is very talented but he needs a firm hand on his reigns to keep it together. I only saw a couple of minutes but it was long enough to see great TD throw in a tiny window. Sean is a really good coach and I think Winston is going to surprise some folks.
